Deb made our stay fabulous, the house, surrounds breakfast, everything exceeded our expectations by a mile. I can't recommend this place highly enough. We absolutely loved it. We stayed in the loft suite which has beautiful views of the rainforest. Thanks for a wonderful weekend.

My girlfriend and I stayed two nights at the separate cottage onsite. The room and surrounding gardens were beautifully maintained. Deb the host is an amazing cook, very insightful about the area and an overall lovely person. She found out it was our anniversary and had a bottle of wine waiting for us. Such hospitality! We were very close to surrounding trails, Berry and wineries. I would recommend this to anybody looking to get out of the city for a weekend. Thanks Deb

A beautiful setting for this lovely B&B. The old church in the grounds is very comfortable and the whole establishment is beautifully furnished and decorated. The host, Deb, is very generous with a welcoming afternoon tea and wonderful filling breakfast. Quiet, peaceful location

Room Tip: Old Church room has easier access than the attic room. The latter has beautiful views.

We stayed at this bed and breakfast while traveling to Sydney, what an amazing find it was. From the time we arrived to the time we left we were made so welcome by deb . she couldn't do enough for you and her cooked breakfast's were worth waking up for. We stayed in the chapel cottage which was superbly kept and a few steps from the main house where you could smell the wonderful breakfast being cooked. We only stayed for 2 night's but could easily have stayed longer as we were made so welcome. Thanks deb for a memorable stay

My wife and I stayed here mid June over a weekend, and I have to say that we were both highly impressed. A warm and inviting welcome from the hostess set the benchmark for a quality establishment. We stayed in the little converted chapel on the property, and my wife found the decor and attention to detail in the property second to none.
A marvellous breakfast cooked to order in the main building (the lounge has free wi-fi) as well as a roaring fire and a fine selection of books and magazines to relax with make this the perfect getaway to recharge the batteries. And all of this about ten minutes out of Berry, and about fifteen from Kangaroo Valley.
Do yourself a favour - stay here. You'll be back (we certainly will). This place is an example of the best that a B&B can be. Highly recommended.

We stayed over the long weekend at this gorgeous and generously sized home for some well earned R&R. We were more than welcomed from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We stayed in the loft suite with beautiful views of the well maintained gardens and top of the mountain/rain forest. The home was warm and welcoming kicking off our arrival with some tea and cakes in-front of the fire on a chilly afternoon. Deb was our host and owner, and WOW what a host. She was the warmest, thoughtful and most considerate owner of a B&B we have ever stayed at. She helped book restaurants and provided us with maps, local walks - and a guarantee of seeing a wombat - what more could one ask for. It was a delight to stay and we will be sure to book again. And oh, she makes the breakfast fit for kings and queens...YUM! An absolute delight and would highly recommend to all.

The Church Cottage at Bellawongarah sits amongst magnificent gardens with grand ancient trees and beautiful flowers, high up the mountain overlooking Berry The fragrance from the roses and gardenias in the extensive gardens wafts through the windows of the tiny but immaculate renovated church building. Decorated in cream and soft blue tones, the cottage has ensuite, self-contained kitchenette, dining table and divan in addition to the very comfortable bed. Everything is pristinely presented. There is wifi available in the lounge of the main house. Hot and cold breakfast, which also takes place in the main house, is generous and cooked to order. Deb is a great hostess and the service is wonderful. The serenity is unbroken apart from birdcalls and the occasional sound of a wallaby sneaking away from snacking on the roses! Nearby Berry is a haven for foodies and has great shopping. An amazingly peaceful place to stay.

I've stayed in a lot of B&B's around the world and Deb was definitely one of the best hosts. You might be looking for a pretty place to stay (check) in lovely gardens and surroundings (check) in a nice part of NSW (check) but you get Deb too!

We stayed in the old church which was very nice. Even the bed was particularly comfortable. Couldn't have possibly asked for any more.

The gardens are better and more established than they are in most of the pictures you find on the internet so that's a bonus too.

My wife and I stayed in the church. It's a delightful 1 bedroom cottage with kitchen, dining and bathroom. Very neat, clean and well decorated. Our host Deb is a delightful lady who made us feel welcome from arrival. Looked forward to breakfast each morning - wonderful fresh produce lovingly prepared. Great to have a chat with Deb and discuss our plans for the day - in most cases she provided that "local knowledge" which ensured that each day went well.

Situated on the mountain, the climate was about 5 degrees cooler than Berry - which in Summer was great. Highly recommended.

Deb was a wonderful hostess and was warm and welcoming at all times. At once we were enchanted by her home that is situated in a magical and tranquil rainforest setting. The garden at Bellawongarah is delightful - it is so special that many will not have seen one like it. The large Australian breakfast set us up for the day, and when we returned from our daily travels it was a joy to do so because we felt so much at home. If you want to escape the rat race, or just love a bit of isolation, then Bellawongarah is for you. Though there are one or two hairpin bends to negotiate to reach nearby Berry, you will not regret your decision to stay at Deb's extremely memorable home. We stayed in many places during our six week visit to Australia, but we regard Bellawongarah as the accommodation that will live longest in our memories. We will be back!
