We wanted a room with balcony overlooking the river and looked at one place before Lerdkeo Sunset Guesthouse. The room was neat and clean, the bathroom had good size, hot water, mosquito net, free waters, balcony and hammock. It was what we were looking for ,so we stopped searching and came back to unpack. The lady who showed the room...

lovely location by the river. Really nice rooms, clean, modern, comfy bed. Looked at quite a few and this was the nicest one we found. The couple running the place Vita and his wife Nang, were the nicest and friendless people we met in Lao.

Due to an overlap with a large tour booking, we stayed at Lertkeo Guesthouse for two nights and Nicksa's Place for one night. Lertkeo Guesthouse was better in most respects. Positive: - Clean, bug-free rooms - Solid walls and floors kept a lot of noise out (sadly this didn't extend to the very loud karaoke party outside the guesthouse that...

We loved this place so much, especially after having an absolute terrible night at the bunglows of the swedish guy (which were dirty, noisy with ton of bugs and even a scorpion in the room). This place is VERY clean, quiet, great view with hamocks, best water stream and heating system. The family is great especially the grandmother, who speaks...

One night there beside river and in the clean new room with very good bed, but best of all was the shower that you can adjust the flame and choose mode of 4 seasons. By highest flame and WINTER the water cook! :) I've never found such a thing in Laos, such a high end product! My tip buy a...

Stayed here after seeing the other reviews. There is always someone home to let you in, it's just that the old lady is deaf, but has a huge welcoming smile. Use the side gate. Accommo is clean and comfy and great hot showers. Paid 100,000kip a night for the room. No bugs either. Best place by far in this sleepy...

After reading some reviews of the plays we gave it a shot only to find it empty without any owner. This is obviously problematic since trip advisor is one of the few tools necessary to find rooms for the night. As far as we know there is nobody here to take care of guests so find another place for your...

bungalows are basic but spotless - and keep in mind that his town is pretty much the end of the world. so be appreciative of any comforts found here. this is not a Hilton, and these are pretty simple villagers, so there may be mix-ups. I booked with an online agency so paid double (!!) but they actually had the...

The village has numerous lodgings but I think the best beats are on the riverfront. This family-run, cheap place is available from the main street. They offer a clean, normal size bungalow with big bathroom, hot shower, mosquito screen. The landlady speaks a bit English. Do not try to find here fridge, safe, wifi. Sometimes there is no running water...
