While the rooms were very basic - just like you would expect on the Galapagos Islands, it was enough to stay on the hotels very own terrace to get the full-on wildlife experience! I was able to lie down next to the sea lions and basically share a subbed with them! Incredible experience! The staff was very friendly too!

You better come right when they open the food area or you will not have any food left. Skimpy , not a lot of good choices especially if you are vegetarian/pesce. Although location is good, you will not be satisfied with the food. And customer service? 2/10. I would not recommend.

We stayed at the Isabela Lodge this month. Take the negative reviews of the Redmangrove with a grain of salt as I was told that the hotel was sold and is now called the Isabela Lodge. The rooms are simple , clean and the air conditioner freezes you! The rooms are right on the beach so that is a major...

The gentle sounds of the pacific lapping at the beach just steps away from our door were peaceful and idyllic. Breakfast at the main lodge was excellent, and service was attentive. What a great escape to rediscover what's important and to play jenga at midnight on the deck. Bliss!

The rooms at this lodge are basic, but they are clean. There is no television, and none of our group could connect to the WiFi. (Who goes to the Galapagos to watch TV or use WiFi anyway?) The best feature of this hotel is its location - right on a beautiful beach.

We stayed here with family and friends and it was great! The hotel is right on the beach so the kids can play and look for sea life. We had coffee outside on the deck and walked the beach in the mornings, then enjoyed cocktails in the evening. The location is great- a short walk into town and to the...

We stayed here as part of a tour. The activities included in the tour were fantastic but we found the Red mangrove company was quite disorganised. For example, we had to get new wetsuits and snorkelling equipment each day which not only wasted time but there was huge differences in the quality of equipment. We also had to change guides...

Spacious rooms, home cooked plated dinner (good soup), The staff are really friendly, helpful and courteous. The wifi is of very decent speed (although its available only in the restaurant area), I did not expect that speed, so was v happy to post pics. The Hotel is basic and breakfast is very simple. Restaurant offers no snacks/items to purchase.. Your...

We enjoyed the tour and the guide. Simple hotel. We got a load of washing done and they charged is us $100! A great way to ensure we won't be back. Ignore the offer and go down the road! It will cost $10 and you are not going to get ripped off.
