Probably one of the best upper class restaurants in the area. I have been there on more than one occasion, most business related lunches. The atmosphere is very cosy, especially when the fireplace is on. The food is very well prepared, excellently decorated and delicious in taste. Mostly, I do take the daily menu and that is a treat in...

Schreiegg's Post serves traditional german dishes with a modern twist. They have a brilliant lunch offer... Always 3 dishes to choose from... One dish is always vegetarian. Dishes are cooked using regional seasonal ingredients. The restaurant offers a lovely biergarten with old trees and also a nice sunny outdoor seating area. The building itself is renovated and extremely well kept...

My German agent took me to do this place to savour the highly recommended Asaparagus as we were in the middle of the season. Served with Hollinadre sauce was superb. The ambience and the quiet solitude was great. Nice wine and friendly service. Was enjoyable .

During our 11 day trip in Germany/Austria we wanted to travel on the Romantic Road. We were traveling from Salzburg to Frankfurt and needed a hotel to break up the car trip. We picked this hotel because of the location and excellent reviews. The hotel is absolutely beautiful. Our room was huge, in good condition, and extremely clean. We were...

We stumbled on Scheiegg's Post through TripAdvisors. And we were glad we did. The hotel is very charming and romantic. It has character and a comfort warmth that invites you in immediately...

We came back to use our Legoland annual membership cards and stayed again at this hotel. Room big nice and clean, the same staff as last year made us feel at home and the food is just excellent! The owner went to get some special raisin bread at the bakery to make the kids happy, what a treat!

I was looking around for a nice stay for a family trip to Legoland for while before I found this nice family run hotel. We (my wife, me and the kids 5 + 8) booked the "Biedermeier-Suite" which was fair priced and big enough to accomodate us nicely. Very warm welcome and personal service in the hotel as well as...

All is said with the above; I needed a hotel in Augsburg, however that was booked (due to fairs), as a result I luckely found this nice hotel, coincidentally. It is roughly 35 minutes from Augsburg. I found out that its kitchen is also renowned locally. The (new) owners (family run, Mr is in the kitchen, Mrs running the hotel...
