I stayed a night en route to Valencia in early September and the place was very quiet. The draw is the location, a sort of remote oasis overlooking the desert valley where Ridley Scott shot scenes from Exodus. Perhaps somewhat faded, but certainly interesting and friendly. We had a good sized and comfortable room overlooking the valley on the first floor. We did not avail ourslves of the hot baths or any of the treatments, but we were given a fascinating tour of the the old Roman baths by the helpful owner. We took our drinks onto the...

It is a charming place but you definitely have to choose quite well when to go. Avoid local & national bank holidays as it could be rather crowded. The owners are very friendly and so are the rest of the staff. The heating comes right from the floor upwards, it's a wonder. The water is not being heated, those 58°C...

we booked the hotel bij phone, and agreed on the low season price (september) for 53 euro's. But when asked the next moring the price was 64 euro's for one night. The beds were very bad and on the website ik looked as if there was a big swimming pool inside, but there were only the "termal"bads, very little square...

We have visited this town many times over the past few years and only this year did we find the restaurant open . we promptly booked a table for Sunday lunch, knowing that the town is always very busy at weekends, and there are only two other small bars in the town.
