After booking the hotel room and before reading some bad reviews, I found myself feeling anxious about my stay at the Regent. In reality, the hotel is good value for the money you pay. Everything in my en suite room worked (TV, Shower, etc.). I found the staff really friendly, helpful and informative. They were funny, down to earth and...

Had to stay somewhere last minute and did not want to spend too much money as only wanted a place to sleep. Having read some of the feedback only after I booked this hotel I was expecting something terrible. while this area of the dock is busy (Nice to see) its just like being on any other busy road so...

Stayed for 1 night for hen party, was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, can't believe it hasn't been forced to close down, terrible location, poor service, not open when we arrived, shabby and unclean reception, rooms were awful, dirty, no soap, no TVs working, no shower (out of order sign taped to bathroom door), full of flies, strange...

The worst hotel I've ever stayed in - unfriendly staff, filthy room, broken shower, toilet seat didn't fit, ripped dirty curtains. Couldn't even stay for breakfast as wouldn't trust where the food had come from or what it was served in as it was set up the night before and not covered. Outside noisy as the windows didn't shut. Whole...

I booked a room at Regent Maritime at booking.com as was going to visit the Anthony Gormley statues. I was worried as we arrived at the Hotel as the state of the outside is awful, not to mention the working petroleum plant right across the street. I raised my concerns with the staff about the noise from the place and...

Hotel was very clean. 24/7 staff were very friendly. Only criticism is that not all of the rooms had WiFi and the tv reception was not that good if on the top floor. I would highly recommend a variety of snacks in the room besides only tea facilities if they're people staying longer nights. Breakfast was excellent for the price...

This has been one of the worst experience of my life. Go on to google street view and look around if u don't believe me. The building is more like somewhere homeless squatters have been living than a hotel, and the smell outside and inside your room from the petroleum plant across the road it's like glue and burnt tyres....

After reading several reviews, I expected the worst. To be fair for the price I was not even expecting a shower or a toilet in the room- but it did have, but would agree with some of the other comments that it could do with a spruce up Tip for anyone staying- the shower is probably the original one from...
