We stayed here for a week in the middle of a month long honeymoon. The room was beautiful, as were the surroundings. It was a very relaxed (and relaxing) place to be, and Justin and Vanessa were incredibly helpful. Every morning at breakfast they would talk to us about what we would like to do and then would help us...

We spent 3 nights at this amazing place, and we know we'll be back. The setting was beautiful, our room clean and cozy, and the hosts were wonderful. The vineyard setting was lovely and very peaceful. We loved looking at the stars at night. We were close to many quaint towns, and our hosts were always willing to direct us...

This was just an amazing place. Accommodation was excellent, fantastic hosts and just the perfect place to relax. Vanessa and Justin are so welcoming and the 4 course meal they served was excellent so would highly recommend that option. We loved the honesty bar and coffee/tea/nibbles available at all times. Room/ensuite was fab and great size. Lots of places to...

Great location - check Great accommodation - check Great hosts - double check (one is not a Sheila, but that would not help my title) Great honest bar Great moonlit dinner under the stars in amongst vineyards - copious amounts of locally sourced wines Great local knowledge - you don't think about this until it is volunteered - extremely helpful...

A truly wonderful find. Peaceful, tranquil and amazing views over vineyards. Our hosts Vanessa and Justin could not have been more accommodating and their knowledge of the wines and surrounding areas and places to visit were second to none. It made for an absolutely chilled and relaxing break that was well needed. We stayed in two rooms, the first upstairs,...

We had a lovely stay at L'Autre Vie, Justin and Vanessa were warm and helpful hosts and the hotel/grounds were perfect for a relaxing break. The rooms were beautifully appointed, comfortable and spacious. It's a perfect spot to sit back with a glass of wine and a good book. The honesty system in the bar was fun and wines were...

We have just experienced a fantastic week about 60 kms from Bordeaux. L'autre vie is a gem! The hosts were exceptional and the setting stunning. Set amongst the vineyards, L'autre vie is the perfect getaway. Unfortunately, our stay was far too short. The rooms, food and fantastic array of wines were all sensational. This is tranquility personified. This is an...

We stayed here for four nights and really loved the chilled atmosphere. Justin and Vanessa are great - very accommodating without being intrusive and offer lots of great advice to help you make the most of your stay in the area. The evening we arrived was after a long car journey, we were pretty tired and did not feel like...

We stayed in the B&B for one week and still it might have lasted longer! The room was perfect (we even had our own dressing room), breakfast was more than enough, the environment is so beautiful! And I have not even mentioned the wonderfull hosts, who are always prepared to answer your questions.

We stayed for four nights as part of a trip to check out the wines of Bordeaux and were really pleased to have found this place. It's quite small (only a handful of rooms) with modern decor in decent sized double bedrooms. The accommodation is relatively simple and uncluttered. On its own it's a perfect stopping off point for exploring...
