Anibal and Katia made us very welcome with aperitifs and excellent cooking, guide books and maps. They were kind and helpful. Rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds and lots of towels. You can walk the Cathar footpaths from the village.

The owners are cheerful and always helpful. The price well corresponding to the standard, simple but satisfying. The views from the windows are lovely. The atmosphere relaxed, the village well positioned for exploration of the seaside and the mountains. Don't miss the waterfalls and the gorge nearby. Carcassonne 1.5 hr distance.

We stayed at La Giraudasse for two nights where were made most welcome by Anibal and Katia. Following an aperitif Anibal cooked us homely meals flavoured with fresh herbs from his garden and it is clear that he takes pride in the quality of his ingredients. There is also very good wine on offer to buy with your dinner for...

La Giraudasse is a magnificent old building, with spacious rooms and high ceilings. There is a pleasant garden and terrace, the rooms...

A charming house where our spacious room had an wonderful view through the tall window. The hosts took time for friendly chats, especially at breakfast time. Good organic breakfast, much of it home made.

I actually stayed there with a friend in July of 2008, but the TripAdvisor drop down doesn't go that far back. I would have left a review earlier except I wasn't on TripAdvisor at the time. I also had one photo of the view from our window (pretty spectacular) but the file was too large. You'll get the idea of...
