This wonderful place was created with a purpose. The ability to unwind and relax must have words in French but the impact is the same. We found it again this time, although the last time I was there the Captain was still with us. The property and it's people continue the traditions and it feels real good. I can agree...

Pros: Quaint village setting, Air Conditioning works, Cheap. Cons:The bed has springs sticking out, there are 2 lamps one of which shorts out. The ceiling fan is missing. The bathroom is disgusting. No hot water. The shower is falling apart. The shower door falls off. The maid makes the bed and leaves towels but does NOT clean. First day we...

(My profile describes I am from the U.K. I am actually from the east coast of the U.S.) After what we knew would be a long day of travel, we were looking for a relaxing place to spend one night. We wish we could have spent a week there. Captain Oliver's is tucked into the wonderfully quaint Oyster Pond locale....

This hotel has the best view of St.Martin. The staff is very friendly and flexible. The best rooms are 110, 111, 112 because you have a view of the harbour and ocean. They have as well a restaurant witg good food and ofcourse a great view. Next to hotel you have the ferry to St. Barth.

I will begin by saying "Don't stay at this hotel" nothing quaint or nice about it other than the 2 young ladies at the front desk who were as helpful as they could be with limited resources. I made the mistake of disregarding the negative comments on Trip Advisor and went for the inexpensive opportunity because our original plans were...

For the 3rd time we have stayed at Captain Oliver's and it really is a great place in a very nice area of the Island. Close to Grand Case and beaches and half an hour drive to airport and simpson bay. If you prefer the French beaches and nice French restaurants, this is a good place to stay. The rooms...

Stayed here for 1 night for business. Room was spacious, clean and air conditioned!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Free wifi!!! View in the morning was spectacular! Only thing.. I did have a little bug with me in the shower. Which some people might find off putting.

This is my fourth stay at Captain Oliver's and it has once again been a soothing balm to my mind body & soul. I love the tranquility of this place. I was fortunate to receive a room upgrade so this time my balcony looked directly out to sea, which gave me some lovely sunrises. The room is large & comfortable...
