Arrived wet and windblown late afternoon while walking the Dales Way. The landlady was very accommodating as she made us a soup and sandwich. We settled down by the fire to dry with our dog. Nice cosy room and everything we needed to dry off and relax. Nice evening meal and again dog friendly service. Breakfast was really tasty and...

Had a weekend away in Kettlewell....if you've never been to Kettlewell, I would highly recommend it. Racehorses hotel is very cosy. We stayed in room 2, a twin, well appointed and clean. Breakfast very nice. Read some reviews ref the landlord. Personally I had no issues with the landlord....although I can imagine some people might take objection to his quirky...

We stayed on Saturday night with two friends. A warm welcome from a friendly landlord. He confirmed our booking for our evening meal. He's not pushy or false just friendly and professional. Our room was beautiful. Clean, modern decor. The hospitality tray was well stocked. The ensuite had a shower and was warm & clean. The beds are massive and...

The only warmth you will get from this pub is from the open fires! Landlord and staff have no idea about hospitality, however don't let this review put you off kettlewell it's a Fantastic location and luckily there are two other excellent pubs in the village to choose from just don't waste your time or money on this one.

Great location with amazing views of the surrounding countryside, nestled on the waters edge and looking very picture postcard style at first glance. We arrived to find a real coal fire burning in the grate and were seated in the bar area to enjoy this luxury. The menu was varied, catered for all tastes and offered the usual options but...

Arrived mid Friday afternoon and the place was empty after the lunchtime rush. Firstly, my two friends and I were told the kitchen was closed by a bar assistant, then the landlord agreed to take our order, he was very accommodating and ensured we had everything and to our satisfaction. We had a variety of sandwiches, chunky chips and a...
