Simply wonderful! This place is a hidden gem: Linda and Larry are outstanding, very friendly hosts, the property is beautifully maintained, and we had a great room overlooking the beautiful landscape. Linda had so many great suggestions - starting from the Australian Gardens in Cranbourne on the way to Llarinda to Agnes Falls to the Koala Trail on Raymond Island and the redd catt art café in Sale. And Larry took us on a super interesting tour at nights to see and explore Wombats! We even saw 3 of them! Unfortunately we stayed only 2 nights, one should instead come for at least 3 or better 4 or 5 nights! We would love to come back! Thank you so much for the wonderful stay, Linda and Larry!

Axel, it was wonderful to welcome you to our corner of the world and I’m so sorry it’s taken me so long to thank you for writing such a wonderful review - we do appreciate it. We absolutely agree with you that spending just two nights here is not enough, especially if you want to see all that this area has to offer and relax an enjoy the comforts of our accommodation. We hope you do come back one day - we would love to welcome you again. Meanwhile, we send our very best wishes to you both. Linda & Larry

Excellent will be a great description of our stay but what made stupendous difference is the warm of hosts. Attention is paid to every detail of the room n bedding including amenities - one cannot fault, better than some 5 star hotels. Breakfast is also a wonderful experience from homemade bread, homemade jam.... to fresh orange juice.

Evenings were wonderfully warm n very pleasant having drinks with hosts at the lounge n fireplace. Wide offering of spirits n wine.

A good restaurant is located nearby. Host will gladly call to make reservation for lunch or dinner. They are very knowledgeable and helpful about the places of interest.
Their enthusiasm to host is beyond expectations.

Highly recommended to any travellers visiting Wilson Promontory! A stay we are definite you will be very pleased..

What can we say but thank you? We have been fortunate to have some wonderful reviews from guests but I'm sure the word 'stupendous' has never been used before! Thank you!!! We love welcoming guests to our home and it was especially good to welcome to two of you, and to spend time with you by the big open fire. Wintry weather does have its benefits! We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and definitely look forward to welcoming you again one day.

It was a privilege to stay at Larry & Linda's wonderful bed & breakfast in January this year while visiting Wilsons Promontory. Its located on the rolling hills of Foster, the surroundings and environment here are stunning. We were very warmly welcomed by the hosts and treated with a wonderful panoramic view on their terrace with white parrots flying around - we felt home away from home. The breakfast was delicious with their home made, organic porridge, granola and jams/marmalades.... but nothing beats the orange/almond cake waiting for us, after a long day of hiking.

Larry and Linda are incredibly knowledgeable about the surroundings and really pointed us to gems in the surroundings. The guest rooms were comfortable and included all kinds of comforts (i.e. sustainable bath amenities) with a small kitchenette, a fridge but also little sweets and chocolates. Our experience was incredible, all thanks to Larry & Linda - thanks so much for staying at your little paradise!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for such a lovely review of your stay with us in January. We were so happy to welcome you and couldn't be happier to know that you enjoyed your time with us. We do feel privileged to live within such a beautiful natural environment and now that the world has completely shut down we are doubly privileged to be able to explore it more, in total isolation! Having lived in cities all of our lives, we are thrilled to now be able to grow our own produce and offer real food to our guests. The orange almond cake is made from oranges from our own trees, but I can see that we will need to grow some almond trees one day soon. Larry and I send you both our very best wishes and the hope that you stay safe in these difficult times. Linda

Llarrinda is set in a beautiful countryside with great views of Wilsons Promontory and rolling green hills and farms. The home is set in beautiful gardens with large deck and panoramic views.

We were warmly welcomed on our arrival by Linda & Larry. Their old fashioned hospitality that made us feel at home and relaxed immediately. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchenette were beautifully decorated and amply provided for. The little extra touches were provided in every room and also the kitchen. We especially enjoyed the fresh fruit platter, home made cakes and freshly baked bread, home made jams that were presented daily.

Also Larry and Linda were fantastic hosts making sure that every aspect of our stay was enjoyable. They had excellent local knowledge of the region and its highlights. They even recommended and booked restaurants ahead of the busy long weekend holiday to ensure we didn't miss out. We are plan to return again as we loved our stay at Llarrinda so much.

Thank you Linda and Larry for making our stay so enjoyable.

We normally book our accommodation weeks or months in advance, but for this 3 week road trip we decided book the night before arriving at a new destination. Three prior bookings were cancelled allowing us to spend 3 nights at Llarrinda, talk about luck. I hope the people that cancelled get the opportunity to enjoy all that is good about travelling that can be found here.
The 121/121 five star reviews are well deserved, others have written about the comfortable accommodation, the views, the wildlife, the breakfast, the travel and dining advice and we can vouch for the quality of all of the above.
I don't think that Larry and Linda have spent a lifetime in hospitality but I'm glad they have decided to share their home/slice of paradise with us.
Lucky us.

Thank you so much Peter for your very kind words. Larry and I thoroughly enjoyed welcoming you both and hope that you've had a wonderful time exploring the Great Ocean Road and Grampians. We send our very best wishes to you both.

Llarrindah was perfect in every way for our recent two day stay. Linda and Larry were friendly and welcoming hosts, the Panorama Room was well appointed with wonderful views, the location, on a beautifully maintained property not far from Foster, was quiet and peaceful. The goodies left for us, home produced bread, eggs, jams and excellent bircher muesli (and more!) were delicious and generous in quantity. Lots of small thoughtful touches, like the binoculars to check out the view, make Llarrinda a very special BnB. Thank you Linda and Larry, we hope to see you again very soon.

It was such a treat for us to welcome you both and we are so glad to know that you enjoyed your stay. Over the years we've travelled a lot and know that it can often be the little things that make a place memorable, so we do agonize over the details in the hope that they will make your stay special. Thank you for finding us, and thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review. We definitely look forward to welcoming you both back one day soon.

We stayed at Llarrinda bed and breakfast for 2 nights near Wilsons Prom. What a great place to stay, the hosts, Larry and Linda went out of their way to make us feel welcome into their house. They provided all the amnesties you would get from a 5 star hotel. If you like dogs, then you are in luck! Because they have two beautiful rescue dogs which are super friendly and always excited to see new guests arrive. The view we had from our room was magnificent, looking down from a top of the hill into a valley near Foster.

With a Spa available, full continental breakfast, including fresh eggs from their chickens, homemade jams, multigrain bread, cakes, fresh orange juice and daily fruit platters, muesli, welcome drink with mixed nuts & chocolate and so much more. As well as surrounded by beautiful gardens and two great hosts. We highly recommend anyone to stay at Llarrinda bed and breakfast while doing some sightseeing in the area, or just relaxing getaway. We had a great experience which was well beyond our expectations. Looking forward to go back there again!

Llarinda is one of the best B’n’Bs we’ve ever stayed at. Linda and Larry are so welcoming and friendly, and make your stay seem effortlessly smooth and perfect (even though it’s clear they’ve put much time and care into their home and their guests’ experience). The breakfast is lovely, the room very cosy and clean, and we loved meeting the local wildlife including multiple wombats, wallabies, and countless beautiful birds including Louis the honeyeater! (Also the resident sheep.) The location not far from the Prom is wonderful. We also really appreciated their flexibility in rescheduling our visit due to our bout of winter illness. Thank you Linda and Larry. We’ll be back.

This is an exceptional bed and breakfast. Larry and Linda are gracious, knowledgeable hosts who work hard to ensure that their guest have a high quality experience. We felt like we were staying with friends. Their home is beautifully decorated with outstanding views and opportunities to observe wildlife. The guest quarters are spacious, extremely comfortable and immaculate. All efforts have been made to ensure the property is self-sustaining and eco-friendly. The breakfast is excellent with homemade breads, jams and granola. If we were to visit this part of Australia again, we would make it a priority to stay at Llarrinda.

Wow… On arrival we received a friendly greeting from Linda & Larry and as we stepped inside their beautiful home we were further welcomed by 2 friendly dogs (Possum & Gracie) and the aroma of freshly baked bread.

The amazing view of bush & green rolling hills flowing towards Wilson’s Prom was only punctuated by 1/2 a dozen gorgeous galahs sitting on the deck balustrade. Kookaburras laughed at us later in the afternoon.

We were welcomed into Linda & Larry’s home to share a drink and fun chat by the roaring fire but also provided with first class private rooms & bathrooms with everything we needed and more.

Our breakfast of fresh, local, home grown & homemade food to be enjoyed at our leisure in a warm space looking out to the beautiful garden couldn’t have been better… more than we needed and so appreciated.

So many added extras; nuts, chocolates & port and home made scones just to mention some. The warm blankets, fluffy gowns, hot spa and large towels all added to the experience and comfort as we enjoyed the evening sunsets.

Llarrinda is a luxurious but homely place to stay for anyone who’d like to explore all Gippsland has to offer and enjoy the company of some truly lovely people… Thanks for a terrific couple of days Linda & Larry!
