The RatiLanna Resort is close to the city (even within walking distance of the popular night market) and offers a very high level of comfort with friendly service and a wellness oasis with a river view. The breakfast is excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. Coffee and tea are served and, in addition to many hot and cold dishes, there is also an egg station and a great selection of fruit and pastries. Everything is very lovingly prepared. We had a 60 m2 deluxe room with a river view and a great bathroom with many great details, e.g. a small babbling "waterfall" next to the bathtub and much more. The whole hotel smells of lemongrass, mint and fresh aromas and is very well maintained. Despite the proximity to the river, there were hardly any mosquitoes in the hotel... everything was very pleasant, including the peace and quiet when you return from excursions or a stroll through the city. The restaurant offers great dishes and small snacks all day long at a good price-performance ratio and there is a hotel shuttle service that takes guests to the night market twice a day. It couldn't be better, so I can highly recommend the hotel!

The hotel is located in the Chang Khlan area. There is quite a lot of parking. You can park in the hotel parking lot. The front desk staff provides very good service and pays attention to every customer detail. friendly Willing to provide excellent service Especially Khun Mam and the receptionist at check-in. that pays great attention to every detail of the customer The room has a view of the Ping River, although it's not clear, it can be seen from the room balcony. The bed is very soft, comfortable to sleep in, the air conditioner works well, there are sheer curtains and blackout curtains like in a 5 star hotel for breakfast. There's a lot of variety, but it's not too wow. There were not many options and the restaurant staff were not good enough at taking orders because I ordered a latte and got a cappuccino. When I ordered a cappuccino, I got a latte instead. which is considered not good service Received the order without clearing it. The hotel's security guard during the day provided good service. But late at night they hardly pay attention to customers at all. There is no hitchhiking or having to look at entering a parking space. Overall, it is worth the price paid. If there is a chance, probably will come back to stay again.

Very nice hotel, complete with all services: Very helpful reception, as soon as we arrived given the low season they gave us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony facing the pool which was much appreciated. The Spa offers countless treatments, I did a relaxing back and shoulder treatment for an hour and it was really pleasant…. The restaurant is open for many hours and offers menus of all types with excellent food quality. The customer service for the tours explained everything to us very well and helped organize our tours perfectly. Quality of the bed, pillows and sheets of the highest level. Very large swimming pool with hydromassages, fountains and bar All perfect

We had booked a Deluxe Garden View. These rooms do not have a balcony and the view is anything but a garden, see pictures. Our room was on the 5th floor. The room itself was actually quite nice. But the first thing you see is pigeon droppings everywhere. This also applies to the windows in the hallway, see pictures. It is extremely disgusting. We complained and were offered a basement room, with windows starting at around 1.80 m. We declined. Then they gave us an up-grate room with a balcony facing the river. These are much older but have much less droppings, but not completely free either. The bathroom was such that I did not use the shower, see pictures. The bathtub was nice and big but the fittings should be cleaned more thoroughly and the headrest looks disgusting on the underside, see pictures. It is almost not worth mentioning that our pillows were yellow and full of stains and there was a long black mess in the bed. The breakfast was OK. The young, somewhat staid young chef at the cooking station did not seem to enjoy his work very much. The fact that some of the staff prefer to play with their cell phones rather than open the door for guests is fitting. Our room was not quiet, the street noise was clearly audible. We were told straight away that the pool was very cold - true. The general area seemed very neat and clean.

Rati Lanna was amazing... the staff were extremely attentive... We had a very pleasant stay... Right from when we entered and till we left it was perfect.... The pool a little cool in January but we had nice experiences sipping on mojitos and basking on the sun... Room was wow ...beautiful decor and bath room it had jacuzzi and jacuzzi.... for the price we paid it was worth..in the evening there was this pianist who played beautiful numbers... however the menu was limited...specially for dinner...and also the usual problem, very few people knew English well... Altogether very good holiday...

At the outset let me say that I love this hotel. Located at the edge of the city in a rather unremarkable area but right on the banks of the Ping river. Designed, built, furnished and decorated in the eternal Lanna style it is extremely appealing. Reception was efficient and friendly and all the staff we met were polite and courteous, especially in the dining room. Our deluxe river view room offered a partial view of the river from the balcony and a more comprehensive view of the restaurant roof but it was definitely deluxe with many amenities, a large, comfortable bed, lots of storage space and very well maintained. The contemporary bathroom was impeccably clean with a shower, large bath and water feature. Breakfast was ok........ but dinner was excellent. There is a very well equipped gymnasium and large outdoor swimming pool. Having previously spent three days in the old city Ratilanna gave us a nice, quieter, less busy contrast and chance to relax.

In a half-modern, half-authentic setting, this hotel not far from the center or the Night Market is a haven of peace. The welcome is very pleasant and the staff does everything to ensure that your stay takes place in the best conditions. The rooms are spacious with all the modern and necessary amenities. The swimming pool allows you to relax in a bucolic atmosphere. Beautiful restaurant for breakfast and a menu with a menu at 1050 Bath is offered for dinner.

I was blown away by the hotel, after reading reviews and looking at pictures I didn't expect it to be as beautiful as it is! Pictures don't do it justice.
This place exceeded my expectations.
Rooms- we had adjoining rooms, 2 single beds and 1 huge bed. This meant having to share with my 5 year old as my 2 teenage sons had their own bed. I didn't raise this or give the hotel chance to rectify but I wish I had as really we could have done with 1 more bed (for 5 of us)
The rooms were tasteful, had the most amazing bath and overall I cannot fault them!
The staff went out of their way to be kind, literally running to open doors when they saw us coming. Incredible! I cannot fault the staff.
The location isn't the best to be honest, it has a 7/11 nearby but to get into chiang Mai you need a taxi, they are cheap enough we paid 200baht for 5 of us!!
We struggled to sleep a few nights, not sure if that was jet lag or the road noise, it isn't horrendous but it does get noticeable at times.
The food was the best I tasted in Chiang Mai at the hotel and was beautifully presented. Expensive in comparison to places in the old town
Breakfast was brilliant, cereal. Pastries, fruit, juice, traditional Thai and pancakes.
Tables were cleared quickly and we were waited on as soon as we arrived. Nothing ever seemed too much.
I had a magnificent time here!

Wow wow wow! This resort was absolutely stunning. From the grand enterance when you walk in to the amazing pool. We had such a special stay here for our honeymoon! They decorated the room and gave us special treats, it was really sweet. The drinks at the restaurant were SO good, we went back every day. The breakfast buffet also had so many great options. I loved how relaxing the pool area was. Lots of spots to sit in the sun. This hotel is also located very close to the airport and only a 5-10 minute drive from the night markets. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a luxury stay in Chiang Mai, you won't regret it.

We stayed there for 10 days and used all facilities, we had dinners, lunches and room services there.
It’s a big five star resort by the river but not far to the old town of CM so I consider the location to be good
Rooms and suites are so big and comfy - we stayed in the river view balcony deluxe, 60 m2 - all great with beautiful bathroom, bed, balcony looking over the river
Common areas are beautiful with a large pool, amazing looking lobby and dinning area by the river. Gym is large but a little old, need renovation
Pool deck is a little old and small for the Size of the pool which is like a lake
Breakfast was good and I would say very good for the low rate now
Services were excellent throughout from checking in, in room dinning, breakfast, gym

no its not far. The Ratilanna is on the riverside and much nicer than hotels in tiny side streets near the busy markets. Everywhere you want to go to take activities is a longish way but very comfortable whether you go with the hotel or the trip companies. The longest trip was to the white water river rafting. Town is 10 mins in a tuk tuk or by the hotels transport. Try not to use tuk tucks because of the fumes.
Located near the famous night bazaar and Ping river, in the heart of the city. We are positioned in a great location for you to experience all the city has to offer.
