My first visit was on New Years Eve with a friend. Attendance was by ticket only to make the evening more exclusive and it worked. We had the most amazing Buffett with as much as you could eat. A duo was playing in the background and all the guests joined in the celebrations together. We enjoyed the food so much...

I was very impressed with this hotel, the room are recently refurbished, very light with open aspects across the fields. My room had French doors plus a window. There is fast wifi in the room, I had a three way skype video conference for over a hour without a glitch. Mobile phone signal not good but you can use voice...

I ended up here with my dog after reading reviews on TA. We felt very welcomed by the bar staff. Toby (the dog) was offered a bowl of water which was most welcome after a long morning walk. I had a roasted veg and feta puff pastry tart. It was delicious. The pastry was beautifully thin and the toppings were...

Good, well kept beer and food on offer at this friendly hotel and restaurant about 1 mile south from the Princes Risborough to Thame Phoenix Trail. The pie of the day was a proper home cooked, individual steak and ale pie, served with mash and vegetables and the sandwiches were also very wholesome, served with a generous portion of chunky...

Had our Christmas party at the Peacock last night and what a great evening. Catering for large groups is always a challenge but the food was fantastic, hot and beautifully presented with no sense it was mass catering. Well done everyone. The peacock goes from strength to strength

The title says it all really. I enjoyed a lovely meal, served by staff who actually seemed to care about your happiness. This was followed by one of the best night's sleep that I have ever had in a hotel (Hypnos beds and mattresses apparently). I really couldn't recommend the Peacock highly enough.

I use this hotel and restaurant lots of times through the year for business, combined with pleasure of course! The bedrooms are extremely comfortable, well presented and very clean. The menu is varied, and has a delicious selection for both meat eaters and non- meat eaters. If you're in the area, or looking for a weekend break, look no further...

superb staff, plentiful and gorgeous food, cosy rooms, beautiful surroundings and, having stayed here several times over the years, it is consistently this good. Martin and his staff are welcoming, friendly and a true rarity - they clearly love what they do. This is a real gem
