Stayed here a couple of times now we absolutely love this place to chill and relax. Lovely walks through the forest to the open fire bar/ restaurant overlooking the golf course or walk to the cabin shop to borrow a DVD to chill in your hot tub. Bang a burger in your private BBQ. It has everything from a dishwasher...

13 of us travelled from different areas to convene and stay for 2 or 3 nights in this lovely setting. We were lucky with the weather so enjoyed walks and the use of the hot tubs. We had 3 lodges each with a double, a twin and a single room. Everything you could need for a self catering break was...

Great location and very tranquil! Love the hot tub! Next door to a golf club which is great. Lots of walk near by. A car is a must, lots to do near by. Only downside is no wifi and signal is bad; however, that may be a plus for some people!

We stayed here in March 2016. We had stunning weather and a lovely weekend. The lodges are pleasant but I wouldn't call them luxury. The soft furnishings are tired and definitely need replacing - cushions were old and battered, the rug was grim. The lodge was oddly under-equipped - examples include only just enough plates and glasses, no nice serving...

I stayed here for a week in sep 16, celebrating my partners birthday, we frequented York everyday, and retired to our warm comfortable cabin every night. The complimentary bubbles was an especially nice touch, but was taken care of by the end of the first night in the hot tub. It was great location and lovely area, the cabins were...

For the price you pay, this is fantastic accommodation. i will 100% return again and again. The hot tub and fire are great additions and the fact that you can bring your pets along makes this a winner - it is so secluded. There is also a bar in walking distance on site with WIFI and a golf course if...

Just spent a long weekend in a keepers lodge number 40. We arrived about 5pm and everything was organised and transfer of keys straight forward. Staff were very friendly and a lovely guy came to the lodge to show us how to use the jacuzzi, the gas log burner and to get sky sports on the TV. The lodge was...
