My husband and I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel whilst visiting family. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the cottage accommodation which was well appointed , immaculate and had an excellent bathroom. Tea/coffee and biscuits were plentiful with bottled water supplied each day which we found to be a very nice touch. The waitresses...

Yes this place has charm and views to die for across stunning farm land , it has a restaurant with food which is fantastic and all served with a smile. The only hitch staying here is you have to keep the windows shut due to insects coming in all night long and no air conditioning so you cook . If...

We visited here recently in a group of six people for my friends birthday. He recommended this place and we were lucky to get a last minute booking on a Saturday night. Immediately on arrival I was impressed with the location and the professionalism of the staff. The menu was very tantalising and offered just the right amount of choice....

Very friendly staff, made most welcome. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the court yard in the evening sun. The location is very quiet and rural. The food served is very homely and fantastic. I will definitely go back when I'm on business in the area.

As we wanted to have an alcoholic beverage with our meal, we decided to stay overnight which was reasonably priced. The meal was perfectly cooked (we had fillet steak) we couldn't fault any part of our experience, the breakfast the following morning was just as tasty as the meal the night before. We will look forward to our next visit...

Stayed one night which actually wasn't long enough. Old coaching house from 17th century still with fantastic character. Beautifully restored with a real symphatic feel. We staying in one of the cottages which had a modern bathroom but large bedroom with beams. The hotel is spotless and the staff are a real credit to the hotel, friendly efficient and helpful....

Again another brilliant meal at this establishment. Have been going here on and off for thirty years and the food quality is just as good as always. Would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone. The staff as always were very attentive and polite.

Loftsome bridge certainly lives up to its reputation. We had the 5 course meal and it was incredible.. The food is absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. Everything we had across the table was cooked to perfection and is of excellent quality. I was expecting small portions but they are very generous. The staff were very efficient .. Always making sure...

Six of us went for dinner to celebrate my husbands 70th and we could not fault the food. I had scallops in a blue cheese dressing, superb followed by a very generous portion of ducking with orange, delicious and pear and almond tart served with ice cream, yummy. The good thing about food here is that it is so well...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestling alongside the tranquil River Derwent lies Loftsome Bridge Coaching House.
