Excellent accommodation for all our family to gather for Christmas. We were able to dine and celebrate together but with suitable private space with the home comforts of your bedroom with tv and bath/shower rooms. Everything you would need in a self catering property. Even down to the shot glasses! Highly recommend and great value for money.

Sarah and Stewart are fantastic hosts, the accommodation is fantastic, and the Breakfast is amazingly good too, if you are looking for somewhere to stay, this is brilliant, and we found two brilliant local pubs for our evening food.

Found this delightful establishment while searching for a B & B on the way home from a trip to Scotland. Luxury accommodation, comfortable beds and we thoroughly enjoyed the communal breakfast with everyone sitting around the same table. The owners were pleasant, helpful and recommended the Sawley Arms nearby for our evening meal - another superb establishment. 5 stars doesn't...

Ten of us stayed here as a half way point on our coast to coast bike ride. When we arrived we were greeted by the owners who are a lovely couple who showed us to our rooms and told us we could use the washing machine and dryer for our biking clothes as it lashed it down on our ride....

Six of us stayed here on a 2 day coast to coast cycle ride. As you can imagine we were extremely tired, and the accommodation was perfect for us to rest, and refuel. The breakfast was spectacular!! With a full day of cycling ahead of us, we were pleased to find a whole array of fruit, yoghurt and cereals, followed...

We had a wonderful short stay in August 2013. We wanted a location we could stay and go to the races. The room was superb and the breakfast choices were excellent. The owners made us feel really welcome and they could not do enough to make our stay an enjoyable one. Val & Don Clay

We stayed at Duke's Place on 27th and 28th July on our way north after a week in Suffolk (family of four plus dog). We were looking for a rural retreat for a couple of nights and were taking pot-luck not having booked anything - and we hit the jackpot! Having our Border Terrier with us had proved slightly problematic...

The little appartment we were given suited us perfectly to relax after a day of driving and with visiting Fountains ahead of us. Everything was very clean and friendly. Most amazing yet was the breakfast which was so delicious that this deserves a special mention! Fresh fruit, a superbly cooked breakfast and an outstandingly nice porridge!! The accomodation is situated...
