We were visiting friends and family just before lock down and thought how amazing it would be to stay in the picturesque village of Chilham, we found a pretty little cottage and first impression was amazing, however, she was the Worst host ever! Absolutely disgusting attitude, the place looked a mess, the grounds were unkempt and she was a miserable woman, always drunk in the evening and only deals in cash transactions. We were supposed to stay for a week but left a few days after. Would not recommend this place!
Wonderful 15th Century farmhouse! Full of History but great facilities - we stayed in Room 4 and were very comfortable. We've stayed 3 or 4 times now and Paula (mein host) is always welcoming and accommodating. The breakfast is great - sets you up for the day. See you there some time!
We stayed at the farmhouse for two nights as we were there for a wedding. The farmhouse is lovely, clean and full of character. Paula was very welcoming and great to chat to. The breakfast was wonderful just what we needed, a full English with all the extras, cereal, tea, coffee, etc. We would highly recommend and would visit again!
Thank you very much to Paula for a wonderful overnight stay following a local wedding. An impressive, beautiful house full of history and interesting talking points surrounded by a lovely garden with trees, pond and patio seating area. The room, although small, was comfortable with tea/coffee making in room and seating area and a quaint little ensuite. Our room was at the front of the house so there was a little noise from traffic however this did not really affect us greatly. Paula was lovely, friendly, we really enjoyed chatting with her before a very well cooked and presented, delicious cooked breakfast with fruit juice, toast with jam/marmalade and tea or coffee. We would have liked to have stayed longer, would recommend whole heartedly staying at this b&b. Thank you for making us feel so welcome Paula. Sharon and Nigel…
