Third time staying here, but first review, not sure why I haven't reviewed before, but here goes! Our main request on visiting Norfolk is pet friendly, of rise White Horse is very dog friendly! Our rescue Greyhound is very welcome here, he stretches out and lays down bang in the middle of the floor in the sofa area with plenty...

After a disastrous cold breakfast, was served dinner (steak ) so cold I had to send it back to be warmed up. Watched my friend eat then vice Versa when mine arrived. Room made up while we were out - but didn't replace all of the towels we'd left out for laundry, so wasn't one of each size for each...

Tim, find your reviews a little confusing after one of our staff members spoke to you after receiving you're first review on night one to try and ensure you'd enjoy the rest of your stay..... you described your breakfast as first class and didn't express any more feelings of discontent!! We rest our steaks to maximise quality, I feel the...

Gorgeous room -unfortunately no photos but really tidy and spacious which was nice compared to a lot of chain hotels. We even had a spare bunk bed and sofa bed as well as the huge king size. Huge bath which made relaxing easy. Breakfast included which was really good. Pool table and bar for evening entertainment. Close to the seafront....

Apart from the comfortable bed, this room lacked a good clean everywhere. Management should start under the toilet seat, behind the sink and continue. Bad lighting no excuse for leaving mould on the sash windows. Very disappointed the place could also do with a lick of paint. Repair curtains and shades. Sorry too much to say. Dinner and breakfast very...

Very sorry to read your review, we made a mistake in allowing the room to be let.... we started removing/replacing furniture ready for a refurb in the room which exposed the rooms need for modernising especially under the sash windows..please email me personally at the pub so we can make up for this error. We booked through booking.com to stay for 3 nights - but left after two. On arrival, we were met by friendly welcoming staff who showed us to our room, which was over the bar. We have stayed in pubs before and didn't see this as a problem - but we were wrong. The bar has a large TV showing Sky...

I'm sorry you felt the need to leave us early during your break, we very rarely have noise complaints from the rooms above as we are sensitive to our residents...such as not putting music on to early and ensuring the volume is at an acceptable level throughout the day. We have reviewed our background music sound system and reminded staff...

We like this part of Norfolk, and have stayed at the White Horse previously. The meals are very good value, and the menu is varied and well sourced from the local area Whether popping in for a bar snack, or dining in the evening, the White Horse does you proud. We shall return again next year!.

We had a lovely stay, we enjoyed the meals and the service was bright & bubbly. Breakfast was pretty busy so we suggest going down earlier to beat the morning rush. Would stay again if passing through.

Stayed here at the recommendation of friends and wasn't disappointed! Stayed in room six which was cosy, contemporary in style, very comfy bed with usual room facilities. We experienced no noise issue with our room close the the pub entrance below the room. The freshly cooked fully English breakfast was just right with amount of items, portion size and worth...

We have stayed at this pub a number of times during the last few years so we must really like it. The room we had this time had recently been redecorated to a very pleasing standard, the staff as usual were very friendly and the food delicious if they could alter anything they could offer a separate bar menu to...

Thanks for your review and feedback, in terms of your request for a few alternative dishes we do try and vary our menu but we have also introduced resident meal cards that offer some more traditional pub options if needed.

We booked for two nights in room 7 and unfortunately encountered a few problems with our room. The toilet seat was very loose and when we pulled the curtains they fell off,we reported this and they were able to attend. With the curtain gone and only a blind on the window the light, shining on the garden, did intrude into the room....

Thanks for your review Richard, appreciate your kind comments on the food, I apologise for the silicone around the bath, you quite rightly pointed out this was an issue at the start of the year, we did address this by replacing the bath panel, new shower screen and resiliconing... Unfortunately it looks like instead of removing the old silicone and...
