Just arrived home after 3 nights in Willow Cottage and our friends stayed in Baytree Cottage. Cannot quite understand some of previous reviews to be honest. We found communication with owner great from the time of booking always answering our questions and even allowing us to squeeze in an extra guest at last minute. Cottage was clean and tidy. Comfortable....

We recently had a two night stay at Willow Cottage travelling with friends who were staying in another one of the cottages. The cottage was fairly clean and basic but we were not expecting anything else, however the smell of dogs was very overpowering and agree with previous reviews that the carpet should be replaced with wooden/vinyl flooring as well...

Willow cottage was deeply disappointing.Very tired and old furniture and very grubby everywhere.Lots of cobwebs, peeling paint and stains on carpets.Hedge outside door was overgrown and there was just a bench for sitting out which was in the shade. The tumble dryer part of the washer/dryer did not work and despite us reporting this nothing was done about it so we...

This was our 4th stay at Somerset Court in 8 years, this time to break tradition we were in the Courtyard Cottage rather than the Cider House. I agree with a number of the previous reviews....'great cottage, great location' but also 'not luxury, bit tired'. Positives: Wick St Lawrence is a quiet hamlet conveniently set 10 minutes drive from Weston...

Quiet location, free parking, cottage average but needs considerable updating throughout - just looks old, tired and in need of overhaul. Rather strong smell from carpets (which looked old and a bit grubby), which might explain Freshmatics constantly pumping (somewhat sickly) scent into kitchen and sitting room. Bathroom very basic, clean but old, paper peeling away from walls, mould on...

We booked Courtyard cottage as a weekend get together to spend time with our eldest boys who moved to Bristol & Weston Super Mare recently. We were not disappointed! Courtyard cottage is one of 5 cottages on the owners grounds. Ours was attached to the owners home, but in no way were we aware that this was the case. The...

Booked for two nights, only stayed the one Television smeared screen Dirty kitchen (appeared clean when you first entered but on opening fridge, floor below not very nice) Fridge froze all our food Had one of those pressurised timed airsprays to hide the damp/mould smell Bathroom taps full of grime As said could do with a deep clean!

Very friendly and courteous couple. Correspondence was by email and waa always very prompt. They were very flexible and always on hand to answer any questions regarding the stay whether it be in advance before our arrival or during the actual stay. They were also more than happy to supply extra crockery on request! The cottage was clean. Generally a...

Stayed in one of the 5 cottages recently. They were converted from stables many years ago, with the former farm house, lived in by the owners. The complex is surrounded by farmland. and is surprisingly peaceful and quiet despite being just a few minutes from Weston S Mare and the M5. The location makes much of Somerset and Devon easily accesible....
