Spent last weekend at the Woodlands Lodge. What a wonderful family run hotel. Nothing was too much for the owners Rob and Imogen.......what a place with friendly staff. We stayed in a very large family room which my youngest daughter thought was amazing!

We stayed here for two nights but only ate in the restaurant one night as we were guests at a birthday celebration the second night. The meal we did eat here, however, was memorable with all three courses beautifully presented and perfectly cooked - exceeded our expectations. The staff Mark and Steve were very friendly, helpful and attentive and helped...

We stayed for 4 nights at Woodlands and very much enjoyed the whole experience! The staff is very friendly and accommodating, b&b classic english breakfast sourced locally, dinner menu is creative and tasty, you can take a walk in the national park from just outside the gate of the hotel. We have seen deers, horses, donkeys and wild pigs! If...

All the staff without exception were excellent. We were staying here with our grandchildren aged two and four, ( visiting Peppa Pig!). We were warmly welcomed, nothing was a problem, in fact I would highly reccomend this delightful hotel to anyone considering a visit for whatever reason to the area. To our delight the food in the restaurant was yummy,...

We greatly enjoyed the Afternoon Tea in a beautiful conservatory full of light. Very friendly and attentive service. The scones are worlds from the next best. Never have eaten anything like it. There was ample jam and clotted cream. Coming from Switzerland it was alone well worth the journey to the New Forest.

We have a german shephard and it was nice to find somewhere that excepts large and small dogs with no fuss. Stayed in room 15 which was great as we could close the...

We spent one night here. Above average price but worth every single penny of the cost. We opted for the Bed, Breakfast and Evening meal deal. Welcome .. excellent. We were really made to feel welcome and that nothing was too much of a problem to make out stay great. Room .. superb, if a little cramped, but this is...

The breakfast was good. Lovely poached egg, blackpudding... and good cafetiere of coffee. We were in room 15 which was disappointing. Had booked a deluxe room and asked to be overlooking garden but given suite overlooking car park. As said before the toilet flush in this room is very hard to operate. Trying to write a report at desk in...

Nice small hotel, good location and breakfast. Probably would stay again but get a different room, my own fault booked last minute so no choice of room ended up with Family room number 15. Room nice size but front of hotel over looking car park, the loo has a dodgy flush to the point I did not trust it to...
