We stayed for 2 nights as part of the offer which included a 3 course evening meal both nights - recommended to us by our son who had previously stayed there. The location was lovely - if the weather had been better we could have walked into the woods from the hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful but...

Returned from a lovely two day break, enjoying great staff especially Mike, Emily & Craig, lovely food in the restaurant, nice room and a warm swimming pool, albeit not too large for long lengths. Great location for getting to Bournemouth & Poole.

Bought for us by our daughter, we had bed and breakfast at this old hotel in the beautiful New Forest. On arrival we were greeted by a young lady on reception who was very pleasant. Our room no 6 was on the first floor to the side of the building. Very tired looking room with an even more tired looking...

This hotel is ideally suited for access to the New Forest. As a dog owner it doesn't get any better and my dogs are welcomed with open arms. Food is good and in general service is very good. Couple of small things - There needs to be someone on reception all the time, the receptionist usually has to multitask doing...

We went on the travelzoo deal with our 2 year old son. Amazing value for money. The location is perfect- backs on to a woodland leading to the heath directly- great for children or dogs to explore with no major roads around. Lovely food with a good children's menu. Staff were helpful and family friendly. They are also very dog...

We really enjoyed our two night stay here. Great room with outside terrace and four poster bed. Comfortable hotel, fantastic location, delicious food, very helpful staff. I didn't use the pool but might have done if I'd had more time. Secluded location near the pretty village of Burley. We opted for dinner, bed and breakfast and really enjoyed the meals...

Firstly I must say that the Employed staff were very good but very over stretched.. the building was lovely and historical... but the floor boards gave it all away but in a nice location.. Thats about it for good feed back.. Avoid room 2..over the kitchen and under a stairwell... 3 hrs sleep that night. The lamb shank would have...

Had downstairs room as stairs bit difficult for me, very spacious, and comfortable. Felt completely at home with plenty of space and very convenient as I had my dog with me. Tea and coffee provided and a decent sized television, also next to pool and bar area,
