Stayed for 2 nights and had a wonderfully peaceful break. Room very nice with a lovely view of the deer in the surrounding fields. Requested a quiet room and got just that, resulting in a good night's sleep. The hotel is well situated in the New Forest and the village is very quaint. The only problem is the price of...

Stayed here for the night for my birthday just before Easter with our 3 doggies. Very friendly and helpful reception and were taken to our lovely garden suite, which was beautifully decorated and led out onto the gardens - a mat, bowl and blanket was also laid out for each of our dogs! Room was lovely, extremely comfortable bed and...

Myself and my partner came here for his birthday and the service was wonderful the lady on reception with blonde hair (sorry didn't catch the name) you made our stay the best ever! The breakfast was delicious and the hotel room was spotless. The view was incredible as we had a view of the deer park from our room! Will...

Booked this restaurant for the Bank Holiday Weekend, (Monday) and it was odd that we've driven past the hotel many times over the years, but have never ventured inside. That's going to change from now on! The service we received was outstanding, the food was innovative, tasty and beautifully presented, and very reasonably priced too. The lamb shank was divine,...

The hotel itself has been recently refurbished and looks great, however the service we received here was appalling. We stayed for 3 nights over Easter weekend, paying an eye-watering amount of money for a tiny double room which didn't even include breakfast. On the first night, we were served in the bar by a waitress who didn't know what red...

The hotel itself was lovely - beautifully decorated and great location. Though, agree with many of the other reviews on here - the bar and restaurant let the place down. Although all of the staff were very friendly (and there were a lot of them), they didn't get a thing right during our stay. We were charged for food and...

We loved it here. We had a room in a separate wing which overlooked the pool and deers wandering free. This hotel is dog friendly and our dog was even allowed to sit around the pool with us which we loved. The room was large and well decorated and the hotel was a handy walk into town.

The four of us popped inside from brewing storm Katie. Magical meal at lunch. Tasty Moroccan chicken soup and grilled cheese starters. One main was a shared skillet of roast chicken with all the roast vedge alongside. Chicken done with feta and citrus. We were advised this would take 40 mins but why rush from the beautiful setting overlooking the...

Firstly, the hotel is in a fantastic location within the New Forest, near trails through both heathland and woodland. The hotel itself is an old manor building which has recently been refurbished to a high standard, the rooms and beds are very comfortable with a great shower. They have managed to redecorate without losing the original character of the building....

Want a place stay that has beautiful views, lovely rooms and the best imaginative food you can eat? It's all available at Burley Manor. We went there about 5 years ago and it felt sad but when we heard that the New Forest Hotels group had taken it over, we thouth we would give it a try. What a change!...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Burley Manor offers something truly unique, with spectacular views of the neighbouring deer sanctuary, it really is set in the heart of the New Forest. Recently fully refurbished it is somewhere you can come to enjoy a tranquil, grown-ups only stay (13 + only), stunning food with Mediterranean influences and most importantly great service. Our individually designed boutique bedrooms are made to feel like home. A sanctuary. Strong, nature inspired colours, antique furniture, eccentric artwork and fascinating fabrics. Power showers, deep baths and warm panelling create a relaxing tone. You can enjoy the perfect night's sleep in our royally approved Hypnos beds, providing pure comfort and relaxation. Our chef's follow the seasons, allowing nature to play a leading role in our menu. It's about a handful of the best ingredients, sourced well, prepared simply, with the help of our wood fired oven, to make the most of their flavours. In the picturesque village of Burley, that is just 10 minutes off the A31 to Bournemouth, you will find this village that is untouched by time, where wild ponies and cattle roam free. With miles of ancient walking paths, there's lots to explore. ... more   less
