First time in the New Forest and we picked a gem of a B&B to stay in. Comfortable room, access to tea, coffee and cake in the sitting room, a pleasant courtyard garden where you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer, available on tap. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious offering a wide choice. Umbrellas and torches available....

Was a bit doubtful about staying in a B&B as had bad experiences in the past, but I struggle to find anything negative to say about this one. The rooms are large, the beds extremely comfortable, tea and coffee making facilities, fully fitted bathroom, fresh fluffy towels every day, shower gel, shampoo, lotions etc supplied, iPod dock, free wifi. There...

We had a superb stay at Wayside; nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. From the warm welcome to the torches and umbrellas at the front door, everything has been thought of. There's a cosy guest lounge where Trish serves homemade cake each afternoon with complimentary hot drinks and an honesty bar. Breakfast was freshly cooked and of the...

Trish & Ian have really worked hard in improving this place since they took over and they have done really well. As you drive through the gate and see the wonderful frontage to the property which gets better as you go inside. The place is clean and inviting and the room we had was so comfortable with plenty of drawer...

A most enjoyable long weekend break. Comfortable bed, good en suite facilities, every facility we could need including the wide range of toiletries, excellent care with good food. Breakfast choices were varied and well cooked and presented by our friendly host Anrike. She even made birthday muffins!
