We were so blessed to have been given a night in the beach front hotel our room with a panoramic view of pure Welsh beauty. The room wasn't massive and the fan in the bathroom was very loud but that was the only downside to the whole stay. The room was compact but really tastefully decorated. The bed incredibly comfortable.... More

The room offered was a bit small because of our dogs. We happened to mention this to the manager who immediately gave us the keys to one of their caravans. This was perfect - had a large double bed and a great power shower - so unlike caravans as we know it. This exemplified the whole attitude of the hotel... More

We're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay in the caravan... we agree that it is "so unlike caravans as we know it" and we wish that more guests understood what we are offering! We're glad that staff were so accommodating and the food was good for you. We hope you'll come down and stay again. More

The Oxwich Bay Hotel. I'll start with the only negative I found and that's the extremely poor wifi, this day in age wifi is pretty much essential but as stated in previous reviews the wifi is pretty much non existent. On to the positives which there are many and I could make a list that would go on forever but... More

Thank you for the lovely review. Our Weddings team are very pleased that you enjoyed the day so much, and Whitney is delighted that you've taken the time to let us know how friendly and helpful she was. We are currently looking into additional wifi possibilities, but unfortunately we do have some issues with our remote location and a lack... More

Attended a family wedding here at the weekend. Stayed in The Old School House cottage which was nice as we shared with the family. We had the smallest room (no. 41) as we didn't have children with us, and it reminded me of tiny hotel rooms in Tokyo. The other rooms were more spacious and family friendly. All the basics... More

Look. This is a lovely hotel in an amazing and beautiful location. But some rooms are far too small to be called a double room. One of them is aptly called Little Tor. Little Tor. Do you like the taste and smell of wood smoke in the morning or your bed accessible from only one side? Do you prefer the... More

We are very taken by your humorous review (we're thinking about offering you a job to write copy for us!). Yes, Little Tor is, as you may imagine, not the biggest of rooms and we are sorry that it disappointed you. Based on your comments, we will review the hook position (we agree that hooks are very useful!) not just... More

We had a quick lunch here while touring the peninsula. Our Irish waitress was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. We only had a soup and a tuna sandwich, but both were well made and tasty. We would happily return.

We had spent two hours walking across the beach in bracing weather and it was with pleasure that we arrived at The Oxwich Bay Hotel. Couldn't sit where we would have liked to eat our lunch because of a wedding, but the restaurant area was fine. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Menu was very inviting and we were looking for... Just been to a wedding at the Oxwich Hotel, I must say the Hotel benefits from the location which is quite stunning. We stayed in the 'Ye old school house' which was perfect for getting all the family together, however it could do with some attention, it's tired, the heating did not work in one of the rooms and in... We stayed at the Oxwich Bay Hotel recently and whilst the location is lovely and the Hotel staff are friendly the wine is really awful and cheap. We paid £7.60 for a large glass of wine which was of very poor quality which let them down. I think people expect better quality wine these days when dining and when attending... More
