Visited the cottage in 2015 with family. This was the first time we stayed at a self-service cottage and we had prepared ourselves well with all the stuff we could require. The cottage and its location is out of this world - unbelievably beautiful with the view of the mountains and the town. The cottage is on way to top... More

We had a fantastic week in South Wales staying at the diary cottage. Everything is exactly as it is on the pictures. Immaculately clean, crisp white sheets, fluffy towels etc. Views are spectacular, especially from the hot tub in the evening. Would highly recommend. Many thanks. We hope to be back soon

We have today returned from a long weekend at Cilhendre Fawr Farm. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5. Clean, spacious, warm, with a vase of daffodils on the kitchen table and milk and tea bags provided. What more could you ask for? We would highly recommend.

Stayed in these gorgeous holiday homes while taking in Irelands first match in Cardiff. Just 10 mins away from Neath and the train line into Cardiff it was a perfect base for the week. The cottages themselves are fabulous. Clean comfy and warm and generously sized. Surroundings are amazing...on a height looking over the rolling valleys. Cottages are well equipped... More

We stayed in cottage 3 with our two young children. The accommodation was extremely spacious and well appointed the kitchen had everything you would need and every bedroom had a ensuite shower room. We also made use of the hot tub outside which seem to be cleared regularly and had wonderful views. If you go with younger children I would... More

Although we only live 6 miles away, this is the second time my husband & I have stayed at Cilhendre Fawr Farm and we had a wonderful time staying in the "Old Cowshed" cottage. The cottages cannot be bettered with views over the Pontardawe hills, all the amenities one could need & a hot tub. The owners Gareth & Diane... More

The accommodation and location is second to none! These cottages really are one of Wales' hidden treasures... A visit here is a must! Perfectly located in between the Brecon Beacons and the Gower peninsula. Don't forget your walking boots!

Excellent place to stay!!! I highly recommend it. Very peaceful and remote. We had a fabulous stay! Great for families as it is very roomy. The view from the cottage is incredible. We will most definitely be staying here when we visit Wales again.

Just back from a fab girly weekend at Cilhendre to celebrate a friends 30th Birthday! The cottage was absolutely fabulous and everything we needed was to hand. The hot tub was amazing and we couldn't fault a thing. We stayed In the 'old stone barn' cottage which was the perfect size for the six of us! We shall definitely be... More

Having moved to the Midlands from South Wales a couple years ago, it was so refreshing to get a great taste of the Welsh countryside from a beautiful location in the Tawe Valley. The cottages are beautifully furnished for the space. And with a hot tub, benches and minimal noise to boast this really is a must for city folk/... More
