It seems like lodging is a little more expensive in Manzanillo. We were happy to find this place in town. The rooms was clean with fans and 2 double beds. Upper floors have sitting area on balcony a lower have a patio. Views are not spectacular but we did see howlers in the trees! Bonu: shared kitchen perfect to make...

My husband stayed here five years ago and wanted to bring me back with him one day. I understand why! The owners are lovely and helpful folks. There's a little shared kitchen if you're interested in preparing your own food. The beds aren't the most comfortable, but they aren't uncomfortable. Each room has two fans; even though it was extremely...

Nicely tucked back from the road but only 100-metres from the beach. Eight very bright, clean and well-appointed rooms: good fan, flat screen tv (with good reception), fast WiFi, hot water and a small but tidy kitchen. Smiley Sandra looks after everyone very well and also does a super fast wash & dry service for your clothes. Perfect.

Owned by a Tico couple who speaks Spanish only. The rooms are very cleaned (cleaned every day). The 4 people room on the ground floor is not very large, but the mattresses are good and firm. Hot water but the electrical deviice on the top of the shower is not very safe. The shared kitchen is well equiped, with a...

We only stayed at Cabinas Manzanillo for 2 night but would have stayed longer. The bed was hard and SO comfortable compare to the many sagging mattresses we've slept on. The owners and staff are really nice and went out of their to help me when I needed it. Everyone was just really sweet to us. The room was totally...

Not much to add to what others already wrote. Maybe worth to mention that it can be a bit noisy during night, as there are dogs and/or cats fighting, cars parking or driving by. The rooms are tidy and quite large, especially the shower. Rooms have no AC but are equiped industrial-strength fans (as lonely planet rightly writes). Bed are...
