We went for one night for a friend's birthday celebration. We were in a separate building adjoining the hotel as we were a big party. The food was well presented, piping hot and really tasty. The menu didn't feel at all corporate with scallops and rack of lamb ..... delicious! The staff were particularly accommodating and were not distracted by...

Very good Atmostphere, excellent staff and pretty good food served by people who actually wanted to be there. Four of us had soups to start, followed by main course of Pork X 3 and Cod from the specials board. Coffees to round off with and we shared a bottle of rose wine.

We visit Cartford 3-4 times a month. Food is always very good, staff is very polite and well trained. Will recommend it to anyone who fancy upmarket pub food with difference. When you there visit TOTTI shop. You can find some great and tasty treasures.😀

We only live 35 minutes away, so why go to The Cartford Inn for a stay over. Well my wife suggested it for my birthday, however I was sceptical. Once there you could be anywhere in the country. We went for a four mile walk by the River Wyre, then back to the lounge for a drink and feet up....

Absolutely amazing yet again, this place never fails us, the food is the best I have tasted and the service is excellent. We had a beautiful meal and it is by far our favourite place to eat, the scallops just melt in your mouth and the steak is a favourite, you won't find food this good for miles...

This short stay at the Inn was appreciated. Stayed in room 15 which is also known as the penthouse. The luxury of the room is reflected in the price (230/night B&B for 2) with all fixtures and fittings of the highest quality. Only slight niggle was the room was cold at the time of check in (4pm) Was informed the...

On the 2nd January you would not have thought that many people were dining out - but they were at The Cartford. The Inn has a warm, welcoming feel, especially so on a cold winter evening. We were shown to our table without a wait and enjoyed drinks before ordering food. The menu is fairly simple, and very locally based,...

My husband and I stayed over at the Cartford Inn for 1 night and it was fantastic. We have eaten there on a few occasions and the food has always been brilliant. This was our first stay overnight and it was not a disappointment. The penthouse room was beautiful, extremely comfortable with a fabulous bath/wet room. The meal at night...
