I'm reviewing this as a hotel on behalf of my Grandma. She stayed here over Christmas whilst visiting me. The room was lovely and she was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and she said she couldn't finish it all, so assuming good portions. Food wise I eat here a lot and it's always great.

We stayed one night and I have to say the young woman who showed us to our room was really polite, helpful and friendly. Our room however was really disappointing - very basic, with the smallest bathroom I've ever had in a B&B or hotel, tiny sink, not that clean and with a bit of a bad smell like bad...

Myself and girlfriend have taken a 3 night stay as a short break. The staff on arrival where super helpful and first impressions were great, through out the stay things were lovely and the owners and staff warm friendly they couldn't do any more to help if they tried. Breakfast was lovely and the room was clean tidy and quaint....

Walked in off the street as we were hungry and not from High Bentham. Not even very...

Stopped in Bentham for a quiet week away with the family. Went to the Black Bull for food and drinks. Couldn't knock the food and the service. And the price range was good too. If your in Bentham definitely try this place out.

We usually eat here at least once over the weekends we stay at the nearby caravan site. The place has a good 'local pub' feel to it, the food is good and very reasonably priced, friendly staff and very clean. The locals are friendly and the town itself has a good vibe. An ideal place to base yourself for all...

This is the 2nd time we have eaten here, I can recommend the scampi & chips and The big bull burger.....what makes a nice change was real chips...one small niggle it says it has a beer garden, when in facts it's a few tables and chairs in the car park....

Having just returned from a voucher short break at the Black Bull the good memories will last longer than our stay, the food was excellent from the large haddock to the surf and turf all well cooked and generous portions. The room (3) was large warm and comfortable with a large bathroom. The staff were all pleasant and efficient with...
