This was our first time at the Fleece Inn and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The menu was extensive and a reasonable price. The welcome and friendly atmosphere was very apparent when we arrived and we were looked after very well by Paul, who couldnt have done more to make our evening more memorable. Thank you

Although a lovely venue the food initially served to us was below par. We order roast beef. The meal was served with 2 very small new potatoe. Each plate had a rotten potato on it. When pointed out our plates were taken away immediately. It would have been our preference to have a roast beef dinner served with mash. The...

We stayed here as a family of three whilst visiting the Lancaster area for a family wedding. This meant that unfortunately we did not get to take full advantage of the Inn's hospitality. We did however have breakfast with our stay, which was lovely. The Inn has recently been refurbished to a very high standard and the rate was reasonable...

Stopped by for lunch on an unplanned visit. The pub has been refurbished to a very high standard and has a beautiful outside seating area with views of the bowland fells. We had sandwiches which were lovely and intend to go back soon for an evening meal.

My wife's language teaching company, Lancaster Languages, had an important client last week, an Austrian MEP. We took him for lunch at the Fleece to show off the best local example of an English country inn and we weren't disappointed. The meal, surroundings and staff were excellent. Dr. Rubig and his wife were impressed.

My husband and I went to The Fleece on Saturday April 1st for lunch. We had never been before and found the staff very welcoming. We immediately felt a warm friendly ambience with a log fires burning and some interesting pictures on the walls. The menu was very good with a choice of 2 courses for £10 on the lunchtime...
