As many reviewers before have commented, Steve and Debbie are the best of hosts. The beds were comfortable, with a beautiful view of the backyard garden. The breakfast room is a sunroom, with a wall of windows looking out into the garden. But for us, the absolutely most memorable part of our stay, was the assistance both Steve and Debbie...

Upon arrival at this beautiful home, we were served coffee, tea, and delicious small, homemade cakes in the immaculate downstairs lounge. Our twin-bedded room was large, very clean, and comfortable, although the beds were on the firm side. Debbie and Steve were exceptionally friendly and loaned us their GPS unit for the evening, which I very much appreciated, and even...

Located very handily for several excellent National trust places; Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle, Scotney Castle and Batemans all within 15mins drive. The B&B is lovely, nice spacious room, with large garden. Tea on arrival was a nice touch. The breakfast is great and with chickens in the garden you know the eggs will be fresh!! There is an excellent pub, the...

Stumbled across this delightful B&B while looking online for somewhere to stay as we visited Great Dixter and Sissinghurst - both very nearby. Felt so cossetted and comfortable we were reluctant to leave. Couldn't have asked for more and would happily return. In stone's throw of a good pub where we ate both nights.

We arrived a little early and were greeted with a lovely cup of tea. Our room faced the back garden so it was very quiet. In the lounge room, which we could use if we liked, there is a great deal of information of things to do. The garden is nice and guests can wander around it. Our hostess did...

Orchard Way was convenient for Great Dixter, where we were taking an elderly relative for a treat. Staying at the B&B was also a treat! The immaculate house has a lovely well-tended garden, which guests are free to enjoy. The rooms are very pleasant, with Room 1 being triple-aspect with a huge and very comfortable bed. There are lovely touches...

We chose Orchard House because of the location and seeing other good reviews. We were not disappointed. From the moment we arrived Steve and Debbie made us feel really welcome and it felt like a home from home. Debbie's breakfasts are superb and cooked to order. She will also do an evening meal if you so wish though we opted...

Travelling about for work you get tired of the same bland environments. Very few places actually get the balance right between comfortable, sterile and over -familiar. Orchard way is one of the exceptions. I have described it to friends (and yes I do recommend it to people I know and like) as a bit like staying with your favourite aunt....
