The Hotel and surrounds are clean and pleasant.

Parking was convenient and secure But there is a £10.00 minimum charge for each 24 hour period. The parking was in the basement of the hotel and is run by NCP, not Travelodge.

The staff were friendly, obliging and efficient.

The room and shower were clean.

The room was the smallest I have ever stayed in.

There is no air conditioning, it was warm even though it is only early May; this would definitely be a barrier to me staying at this particular hotel except during the first quarter of the year; and I would not recommend anyone else to stay.

Charging for WI-FI at £3 per day reflects a prehistoric and penny pinching mentality , when Wi-Fi is offered as an essential and free service at virtually all venues; it's like adding an extra charge for water or electricity to be provided to your room.

My landlord put me up in this hotel for over a week whilst work was carried out at my permanent residence. Staff including Alexandra, Dana and Julie were very kind and helpful as were the reception staff. Refreshing of the rooms was a bit confusing. I put the tag on my door handle but it went missing and nothing happened. I asked staff members for fresh towels, top-ups for tea making, loo roll and bin liners when I needed them. All these things were provided without any problems. Curiously, the day before my departure the room was serviced. These hotel workers are proving the service of a hostel rather than a hotel because they have many long-term guests due to the housing crisis. The restaurant area was always clean and there was a decent selection of food and drink at breakfast.

This is our first time here in UK and we have checked in directly into Travelodge. Jarma at the reception made our lives easier and helped us alot. She has been so kind and helpful, Each time we needed something she was always there to help us and navigate us.

Our first few days have been so memorable because of Travelodge and especially because of Jarma. She is basically the best at what she does. Thanks for helping us out Jarma.

Coming to the food they served, it's been a wonderful experience tasting different delicacies, all the dishes we have tried are delicious. The keralan Cauliflower curry is awesome. All the staff are so welcoming and helpful.

If I have to give a suggestion where Travelodge can still improve, you can increase the frequency of cleaning the rooms. It's just once in a week now that can be improved. Rest is fine.

Thanks for making the first few days of our stay comfortable.

I arrived late in the evening on a Friday, and there were only 3 rooms available... However, Roch found me a room and I am still here one month later.
The manager runs a very organised hotel and is always smartly dressed unlike many professionals people these days.
My first meeting with anybody was Leigh who is always cheerful and willing.
I was also happy to meet Saffron who had the near impossible task of cleaning my room with its endless amounts of luggage as I am in transit here until I find more permanent accommodation .
Staff here seem to multi-task, as Leomar was working the desk as well as waiting on tables, and helping me with the technology needed to get me on this App.
However, the real invaluable asset has to be Carma, who can turn her hand to anything, from reception to carrying vast amounts of my heavy luggage to greeting guests, and trying to cook something which smells delicious and is stirring my digestive juices. She is a real wonder, and I would hope that she will progress to a managerial position in the future.

My wife and I were in Bromley for just one night and we decided to stay here having done so quite a few years ago, and it is so convenient as it is centrally located within easy reach of the town centre, restaurants and pubs. We were very pleasantly surprised to find that the decoration and decor of the place had been kept as pristine as we recalled from our previous visit; there was no deterioration at all. Checkin was extremely quick, and we had a room at the back of the hotel away from the busy A21 road that runs passed the hotel at the front. We found that the room was exceptionally clean, as was the rest of the hotel. Our only slight gripe was that we found that the room a little hot while trying to sleep, but this is probably because we sleep in such a cold room, our preference, while at home. We took advantage of the underground car parking and we thought that the price paid for a full 24-hours was very reasonable, especially for the obvious peace of mind that it gave us. Checkout the following morning was just a matter of putting the room card in a slot at the Reception Desk. All in all, we thought that it was a very good choice to have made, especially at the cost which was very, very reasonable.

Someone had been smoking in the room allocated on arrival (214) and our phone charger and cable went missing when Travelodge staff moved our personal effects to a different room.
We asked Reception to check, the lady on Reception said she personally inspected the room after the cleaners had been in stating that charger was not there. The only people who went into that room were the Travelodge staff who moved our personal effects, according to Reception no other guests used that room. Whilst checking out the lady on Reception said the Manager would call to discuss this. No such call was received and no compensation offered.

The staff here are amicable & polite , superb & efficient service with a smile of a mile from all the staff . Carma is eloquent, articulate , meets one's needs.. she knows how to make people happy. She set my birthday off with a boom which I really appreciated and enjoyed . Superb! She is kind, attentive, and uplifting when days are cloudy , she makes you feel like the sun shining & brightens up your day. Carma helps with promoting the best out of Travelodge and recommendations will be passed on thanks to her. Denisa at reception always greets me when she is here with a warm welcome before breakfast therefore it goes down extra well thanks to her personality and credibility with good customer skills, she has made my stay here more pleasant and introduced me to a more suitable room that made my stay more comfortable with good talking technique . Judith in the kitchen makes your dinner really nice and gives you service with a smile & is kindhearted & certainly notices her presence when around and is missed when she's not around by everyone. Also to mention Lara who is quick with flexibility in her customer sercice and serving at the bar. Highly recommend staying here and their job profiles are amazing as they sometimes have to deal with difficult situations and still manage to maintain good continuity and rapport with customers.

This place treats the customer terrible. The manager doesn’t even care to check that the batteries on the door lock are charged up. Anyone staying here might just find themselves locked out of their room upon returning at night and then told it’s going to be a 4 hour wait to get back in if your lucky, which means you may not get back in until the morning. They will, and that’s if they have another room available, give you access to another room to wait, but who wants to sit in another room without any of your belongings simply because this place doesn’t have a reasonable system in place to get you back in quicker. The staff won’t care either. They have the attitude that it part of the parcel of traveling, similar to an airline losing your baggage. They also didn’t have a care that I had my asthma inhaler in the room and apparently they have no means of following up on the whereabouts of the people coming to fix it or how much longer it will be after waiting for 3 hours or more. Also, be aware that your room may not get serviced even if you leave multiple reminders and the key cards constantly fail. If you do need assistance from the main office you end up getting an email saying they will get back to you in a couple of days. Not a very helpful company at all.

Only one member of staff when we arrived. Julie (the housekeeper) was doing reception, housekeeping and cooking all on her own. She was doing a brilliant job (and I hope she gets recognition for it) but surely the management should have sorted it. Then the TV signal went. We have been here three days and still no TV. It is part of the service that we have paid for but no-one seems interested in sorting it out. The staff are pleasant and helpful enough apart from the above. Standards over most of the Travelodge hotels that we have stayed in recently seem to be dropping.

Upon our arrival nothing looked out of the ordinary. We couldn't smell any drugs of any type throughout our entire stay. The only problem we had was the noise level with regards to the people on either side of our room opening and closing the doors to their rooms. It was very loud. Premier Inn also at Bromley didn't have this problem
