Great place for a stay. Everything we needed for our short stay. Fully functional, bed very comfy and quiet location.
Owner was very friendly and helpful. There to meet us even though we were a bit later than planned arriving.
Would happily stop again if in the area.

We have stayed in this Guest House for the first time while visiting relatives in Bromley, all I can say is WELL DONE Roy, you are the perfect host and the big hotels could learn a lot from you. The whole place was immaculate and the bedding had a smell just like your home washed laundry...perfect. The TV had hundreds of channels and also catch up tv so we caught up on what we missed on our day/nights out.
Thanks again Roy, we will definitely be back.

Friendly and Professional BnB, all needs well catered for.
Fantastic large guest house, with offroad parking and 24h front door access.
Rooms are comfy and decorated to a high standard. iPod/iPhone docks provided in all rooms, 200+ Channel Cable TV, including on Demand Content, and access to 50Meg broadband through Wifi, with Good/Excellent coverage throughout all the rooms. (We booked two, and can't fault it!!)
No Ensuites, but as we had booked two rooms, and were the only guests, we had access to our own bathroom, and toilet, with an electric power shower and bath.
Cereals, Yoghurts and Fruit, Tea and SEVERAL fresh proper coffees are always available for breakfast, and a full English breakfast is offered, and cooked to order. (Which was very nice!)
Our rooms and bathroom were serviced every day.
Super quiet road, bedrooms are also all at the back of the house, overlooking other gardens. 4minute walk to the main high street where they is a Maccy D's, Fish and Chip shop, Indian Restaurant and I'm sure more...

Very friendly owner who is attentive and helpful. Very clean room with good facilities. Not en suite, but that wasn't a problem during my stay. Lovely and quiet, but close to all the facilities who likely to need. 2 miles to a train service into London with a regular bus service in between.

We stayed in the annexe, which is alongside the house and were very impressed. There was plenty of space, the shower was fantastic and the host, Roy, couldn't do enough to help. As an example, I mentioned in passing that I was on a gluten-free diet, and the next morning at breakfast there was gluten-free cereal waiting for me. All the basics were spot on - comfortable bed, exceptionally good food and a clean, well-maintained room. If you have to stay in Bromley, this is the place I'd recommend - we'll certainly be going back there. Only slight problem was the wi-fi signal, which wasn't particularly good in the annexe. Otherwise, perfect.

Clay Farm house is beautiful from the first minute you see it. We arrived earlier than expected and were very warmly welcomed by the owner Roy. Roy is the heart and soul of the house and is a perfect host.
The rooms are all great and have everything that you need and i can confirm that Clay Farm has the best pillows ever! We had the spectacular full breakfast made by Roy.
Overall highly recommended with Roy being the consumate host.

Arrived on Bank Holiday Monday, Easter weekend by the owner.
Prior to arrival the communications from Clay House was excellent. Clearly stated what I'd booked and a note about arrival times. Furthermore, received a couple of additional messages to let me know what we could leave at home like hairdryer etc. A nice and considerate touch, one that many other establishments should adopt.
Upon arrival we were shown to the annex, a converted garage by the looks and very tastefully done. As you'd expect, a long room with the bed being close to the front area where the outlook is over the hard standing area for your car. The rear is set aside for the shower room and toilet, again all tastefully appointed.
Clay House is a stones throw from Bromley and dining out at some good restaurants isn't too difficult to achieve or too far to travel. We chose Madisons, a small but very good American type diner.
I have no hesitation that next time I'm working in Bromley that I would choose Clay House again. The reception was excellent, accommodation also excellent, facilities as expected with very good fast wi-fi and breakfast, in the main house, is also good.
Value for money...terrific. And those pillows on the bed, must be experienced to be believed. I've since bought some...delish.

My son and I stayed at the Clay Farm guest house for several nights. We were visiting London from the US and after looking at literally hundreds of B&Bs, hostels, and hotels, I am confident I made the right choice. The location was great...out of the hustle and bustle of the big city, while only a 25 minute train ride away. It is in a safe neighborhood and the bus station is right around the corner.
Roy was friendly and easy to chat with without being intrusive. We had privacy as well as an accommodating and helpful host who made himself available for transportation advice and suggestions. The English breakfast was wonderful. The room and bathroom was clean and nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone and look forward to returning at some point in the future!

This is a large family home in a normal urban neighbourhood in a very quiet street. Our room was lovely, nicely decorated with a huge comfy bed, cable TV and a nice view of the garden. It isn't ensuite, but there was no-one else there, so we had our own bathroom.
Breakfast, in the conservatory or outside patio, is tasty with lots of choice - the continental style with fabulous coffee.
For a B&B, the service is excellent. We got a very welcome drink of coffee when we arrived and all throughout, Roy was very helpful with our plans. He even gave us the change for the Dartford Tunnel as we were in a rush to leave.
It's within walking distance (15-20 minutes) of Chapter One, the Michelin starred restaurant. We didn't go into London, but it looks easy enough with a short bus and train ride. Detailed directions are provided for you.

We stayed in the annexe, which is extremely comfortable, clean and contemporary. Perfect for us and our daughter. Loved all the little extras. It is the first time anybody has left squash for our daughter in the room. The under floor heating was lovely, and the bathroom an excellent size.
We were offered a good choice for breakfast and Roy made us feel very comfortable, and suggested we sent him a text if we wanted anything different for breakfast. He also lent my husband some shoe polish as we had left ours at home.
Pay heed to Roys warning of watching the gates to the driveway when you arrive. We arrived in the dark, tired after a long journey, and slightly damaged the car driving through the gates. Totally our fault, we should have parked outside.
Roy is a most fabulous host, who made us feel very much at home. We would not hesitate to stay there again when we return to see family.
Thanks Roy!
