My buddy and I just returned from a surfing trip to Baja, Nov 30 - Dec 7, 2014. We stayed at La Palmas Tropicales and had the pleasure of meeting Bobby and Wendy, the proprietors. They are charming folks and first-rate hosts who consistently went out of their way to ensure we were happy. There were other guests at the... More

If you want to be away from the big cities (Cabo, San Jose), this is the place. Quiet, off the beaten track, walked to the beach every day. Surfing was best here (some just south in Cerritos too). Bobby and Wendy are wonderful hots, our little 1-bdrm apt was great, clean, ocean views. We stayed in San Jose del Cabo... More

Great location between Cerritos Beach and Todos Santos. Clean and modern rooms with well maintained grounds. Hosts were personable and willing to help with all the requests that we had to ensure a pleasant and memorable stay. We will certainly return. Thank you, Wendy and Bobby, Chandler and Cohen. Trust that the new casita is on schedule for completion....looking forward... More

It seems that all THREE of the really decent hotels are off the beaten path, on the beach (dirt coastal beach road). This is a really nice 'in-between' priced boutique hotel located about 100 yards inland from a nice sandy beach. It is located on the 'main' beach road, which means it is unpaved. Because of the location, it is... More

Bobby and Wendy are great folks and make sure your stay is dialed in for your stay on the Pacific Coast of baja. They give you a comfortable, friendly, and relaxing place to stay. They also were extremely helpful in giving us the lowdown on all the happenings in the area. I will be back and most likely soon. Peaceful,... More

I rented the main house with friends in January. It is a great space with more than enough room to spread out. Bobby and Wendy were the perfect hosts..ready to help us nearly before we asked. We loved the remote location and the beach was beautiful. It was a short drive to Todas Santos and Bobby and Wendy gave us... More

Was really impressed with LPT. the casitas are clean and fully furnished with AC and fans, and beautiful inside and out. We felt safe the whole time, as all the casitas are within walls. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into designing the property to maximize the potential of the area. The deck looking onto the beach... More

I stayed a week in the third story casita that has an ocean view. The place is quite nice, not large, but with a kitchen, an island counter for dining, a living room area, a bedroom with a queen bed (super mattress), and a relatively spacious bath and shower. Nice decor inside and out, Lovely tile and wooden arch doorways,... More

I was very lucky to stumble upon this spot. Bob and Wendy were extremely helpful with directions, and making my stay a great one. The space was clean and comfortable, traveling alone I felt safe in our location. The beach is a few steps away, with soft sand, inviting water, and few people. There's a deck on the property which... More

This comes in a bit late, seeing as how our stay was in November, but I just had to write and comment on our wonderful trip. We stayed for 9 nights and had a wonderful time. There were five of us and we got two Casitas, the Bougainvilla and the Del Mar. The Del Mar was perfect for three of... More
