We have just returned for yet another stay at this lovely B&B. We are so GLAD to hear that you are no LONGER selling up hence our return. Clare and Dick do everything they can to make your visit pleasant. This is a must stay if you are in the area not only for Dick's very dry humour but definitely...

This is the second time we have stayed here .The accommodation is very homely .The food either B and B or evening meal are excellent Clare and Dick are the most attentive and welcoming hosts but the most important thing to us is the setting the walks and the fact that our two large labrodoodles are made as welcome as...

Just returned from a weekend with Claire, Dick and their lovely Golden retriever Max. We stayed in the self contained annex which was really comfortable then went up to the main house for a wonderfull breakfast. Our little yorkshire terrier was made very welcome and it was a wonderfull insight into country living. Excellent holiday. Thank you.

I was surprised at how comfortable it all was. There was an ensuite shower and toilet off the bedroom and a kitchen/diner/lounge which was well furnished. I had my...

We are Canadians and we love the place. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Clare's food is excellent. My wife and I actually spent a whole Christmas Holiday there including one of the best Christmas dinners we've enjoyed in years. (There were other guests there at the same time). The rooms we have occupied were very clean and comfortable....

The room was dirty, damp, cold and smelly. The septic tank was just outside our 'converted stable'. The tea and coffee making facility was appalling, the coffee remained in the jar when tipped upside down. There was only part of a toilet roll available and no spare given. No curtains in the bedroom only a blind with gaps in. The...

Very peacefull set in the yorkshire country side. Good nights sleep & a hearty breakfast in the mornings. Have stayed here 3 times now so it must be good. Dog enjoyed the fresh air running around the surrounding fields.
