We haven't stayed yet but have already had a very pleasant experience with the owners. Looking for somewhere to house a wedding party next July we called by on spec. after seeing their roadside sign and were met by the housekeeper / friend who, having apologised for the condition of the rooms (they were just being cleaned / made up...

Very comfortable night in this excellent B&B. We stayed in the adjoining cottage which was very quiet. Mrs Russell kindly booked us a table at the nearby restaurant, also owned by them. The meal was excellent, as was our breakfast the following morning.

Audrey's decorative flair shines through and within a limited budget she has done a terrific job. We had a lovely suite with plenty of room and our own lounge to boot. Altogether a comfortable stay for the night.

The rooms were immaculate and extremely well presented. Tea and coffee making facilities were provided with biscuits and two bottles of water; more than what we have sometimes had in five...

The breakfast is amazing with a wonderful choice and importantly cooked individually for you so that the food is perfect. The hotel lies in pleasant farm land about 500m from...

As we approached on the manor, the first thing that struck was the beautiful view across the Firth of Forth. Turning into the private drive, lined with bluebells, we saw the impressive building ahead, with an immaculate lawn and well stocked flower beds. Mrs Russell (Audrey) welcomed us and took us to the cottage attached to the main building. The...

Lovely building set in rural farmland on the outskirts of Tranent. The property is immaculately presented and the suite was lovely overlooking the front garden. Plenty space, nice little lounge area and the bathroom was spacious and spotlessy clean. No comments required about the size of anyone's rears but the toilet appears to be very close to the wall :/...
