This is a nice campsite that I have stayed in a few times over the years. I like that it is fairly unstructured (as a campsite layout), however the toilet facilities do need to be updated really. It has a reasonable shop and friendly staff. Grass/Electric hook up available, with no caravans allowed on the site. Nice pub is a...

Have camped here a lot over the last few years and just camped this last weekend as the site had just opened for this years seasons. I've read some other reviews and I'm saddened. But to put the record straight. There is a large loo and shower block one for men and one for women and I have never see...

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago for 5 nights. A basic site but has adequate facilities. Shop on site with basic necessaries. Unfortunately you cannot book to stay here, which seems a bit silly especially if you have travelled a long way and run the risk of not having anywhere to stay. Found the staff very rude, not even...

Been here a few times, it's still very basic, shower/toilet block really in need of updating, the owners or couple that run it, well let's just say don't expect a good morning etc, however the site is well located, not the cheapest considering its run down, but well worth camping their all the same.

Every year we go back to Tom's Field. Every year we hope that improvements have been made, but sadly this is not the case. The site itself is lovely. a bit sloping but nothing to really bother about. There is a lower area with hookups, and the higher field with far ranging views. Perfectly situated for local attractions with regular...

This is an old fashioned site, well established but tired and in need of new toilet and shower facilities. The staff are not really in the mood for hospitality so don't expect any humour. At the very end of August the sites were worn and evidence of litter and barbecue burns to the grass obvious. The site has curious rules...

We stayed here for two nights. No reserved pitches, so we made sure to pitch early ish on Friday. Facilities were fine, clean shower and toilet block. We love walking in the Purbecks so Tom's field is well positioned for us.

Location great - however toilet and shower facilities were disgraceful ... inadequate water pressure in showers - stinking urinals and very basic facilities ... Major disappointment - Small wooded area where children seemed to congregate-My eldest son 9 year came back holding a discarded knife that he had found ... No real people skills with management team - pitches very...

We booked a large pitch with power for a week, during the school holidays. Pitch 2 was ours. Plenty big enough for our tent and fairly level. The site has token showers - You do need two tokens per shower! a great little shop and a café set up in the mornings for breakfast. Within walking distance of the Dancing...
