A lovely Inn full of wood and artefacts from its pining past. Always a warm welcome from the friendly staff; I think they like to see people as it can get a bit quiet. We camped by the river for 3 days and enjoyed the almost eerie silence. There are just over half a dozen sites to pitch tents on...

I was fortunate enough to do a Botanical Art Class with Lyndsay Watts for three days at Corinna. We stayed in the cottages which were lovely and well appointed. Being in a wilderness area and having to be self sufficient they operate with solar power and gas so you can't use your kettle or hair-dryer. The staff were lovely -...

Comfortable accommodation backing on to the southern tarkine wilderness. The staff were friendly and helpful, nothing to much trouble. Ferry trip across the river was efficient. The food at the restaurant was great. Would recommend. The bed could have been a bit softer.

We stayed here with our Aussie friends, a couple who are great wildlife enthusiasts and planned a superb trip around Tasmania this October using their knowledge from previous trips. They picked this location because of the extreme isolation, surrounded only by forest, and wildlife, alongside a river. We only walked, mostly along the river bank, but if we'd had more...

Great place to visit - good food at the bar - great steak sandwich, accom was good. Good friendly staff. Lots of magic native animals to see. A little out of the way, be careful about driving at night. A great west coast experience

I would highly recommend this place. Very helpful and friendly hosts. Very comfortable accomodation. Set in the south Tarkine wilderness. Lots of wilderness walks close by easily accessed from the lodge. Also canoes and fishing. A well stocked bar along with some basic grocery supplies - always helpful in a remote location. Definitely going back.

We were warmly welcomed with cheese and crackers and freshly ground coffee was available in our room. Although Corinna itself is far away from the madding crowd, I actually felt hemmed in, as our cottage 'Louise Lovely' was in the middle of and facing other cottages. Our kitchen and lounge was opposite parked cars and a shared BBQ area. We...

Thank you for your valuable feedback. I am very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with your cottage location. This matter had not been brought to our attention. Had you mentioned this to us , we would have been more than happy to relocate you. I acknowledge your request for information on local animal species. We now have a...

Stayed 3 nights on a whim and had a fantastic experience. Staff looked out for us went out of their way to be helpful. Unexpectedly arrived late but Mick was ready to ferry us over the Pieman river when he saw our headlights. Cabins are delightful and cosy - just what you need out here. Nature and environment is very...

THIS is why we love Tassie so much... especially when you're the only guests bar one in this very special part of the world. We did lots of walking and exploring and had a great kayak up the bulging full river. Make sure you speak to Dale... he's the guy who runs the barge and the boat tours. Full of...

Thank you for your delightful comments. We agree Dale is definitely an asset to Corinna. He always delivers great service to our guests and is often called a " walking encyclopedia". He and all of our team have the same passion for Corinna and the Tarkine. We love the place and love to share the wilderness experience with our guests...
