All the positive reviews are spot on! No phones, no internet, no TV... beautifully appointed "Eco" cabin nestled in a fantastic rainforest by pristine river with no bridge! Easy 5 star rating on position alone.

Corinna feels like stepping back in time. Many of the town's original buildings are still in tact, either lived in by locals or as accommodation options for tourists. Old machinery from the town's mining and timber history lay around the place, adding to the atmosphere. Great food at the Tarkine Hotel for dinner made life easy, and was not ridiculously...

Thank you for your comments. Corinna is like stepping back in time, no social media, mobile phones or wi fi. A great place to escape the hustle and bustle.

No TV, mobile phone coverage, or wifi this isolated and rugged destination a great place to get away from it all. Resteraunt had good menu but very limited vegetarian options, so if staying more than 1 night you have to eat the same thing every night, gets a bit tedious after 3rd night. Pieman river cruise very beautiful and interesting,...

Just returned from a few nights in wonderful Corinna. Amazing, remote and beautiful. The road in via Zeehan is a bit scary (narrow and winding) but well maintained and fine if you;re not zooming along too quickly (watch out for idiot drivers approaching from the opposite direction though). Accommodation is basic and clean - although we found the bed to...

Thank you for taking the time to share your Corinna experience. Kayaking is definately a must to do here at Corinna. The Pieman river is spectacular, especially early morning. There are also many beautiful tributaries off the Pieman to explore. We look forward to your return!

This is a brilliant place to stay to explore the Tarkine Wilderness. The little original cottages were clean and functional, quite cosy! The restaurant was terrific, great dinner and ambience was warm and welcoming. The boat tours up the Pieman River were also terrific. Kayaks on offer. Excellent hikes from here. Loved it!

Corinna is a remote area and we stayed in a one bedroom cabin. The amenities were basic and clean. The cabin had a gas fireplace so the room was nice and warm. There was a kitchen with a gas cooktop and a gas kettle. The kettle was very old and needed to be replaced as it leaked everywhere when you...

Thank you for your comments. We currently have many wallabies, paddymelons and brush tail possums. This season we are very excited to have three young Tassie Devils showing themselves most evenings. Hopefully you were able to see one of these during your stay!!

On arrival we were amazed by the old world charm of the cottages and the serenity of the Pieman River, immediately you got the vibe that this would be a very relaxing break. Our 2 bedroom cottage was more than adequate, the kitchen was well equipped and the gas heater kept the whole cottage very cosy. At the hotel the...

What a unique place. A perfect end to our amazing holiday in Tasmania. Totally off grid with no TV, internet or phone, perfect. If you want somewhere where the only electricity is solar powered, no phone, no tv, no internet, amazing walks and scenery then this is it.
