What a fantastic stay at Kilindi. Halfan was an amazing butler, the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The pavilions are beautfiul - a dream to stay in - and the private beach was gorgeous. We loved dining in the candlelight on the beach one evening. We recommend kayaking at sunset and the private dhow sunset cruise...

Dear Katie and Charlie Thank you so much for taking the time to post a review on Kilindi. We really enjoyed hosting you both during your honeymoon trip and we’re so pleased you enjoyed all the special Kilindi ‘touches’ such as the candlelit dinner, kayaing and the dhow trip. We do hope we’ll see you again soon. Best wishes Peter...

Every part of the experience at Kilindi Zanzibar was second to none. From the moment my partner and I stepped foot onto the grounds and was greeted personally by the manager Peter, we knew we were somewhere special. The first thing Peter told us, was that there were no rules here. Only in the sense that we could order omelets...

We stayed at Kilindi for 7 nights at the end of our honeymoon. Having just been on safari we arrived somewhat weary but were greeted with a bunch of flowers by our fantastic host Daudi and shown around our home for the week. We felt like we had just landed in paradise! The "villa's" are tastefully decorated, with lots of...

I stayed at Kilindi during a two week stay on Zanzibar. The staff were welcoming and friendly, great food, gorgeous private beach and large rooms with 2 private plunge pools. The setting and gardens are gorgeous with expansive views over the ocean. The hotel is private and not connected to the main busy overcrowded beach of Nungwi. The property is...

We spent four days relaxing on the north western coast of Zanzibar! The kilindi resort takes your breath away. The private huts guarantee calm and serenity away from the craziness of our hectic life. The best of the best was chef Adrian's food. We could not wait for the next meal as our tastebuds were delighted by his creativity. The...

I stayed here for 4 hours and almost ruined my honeymoon. This hotel was recommended by pure Zanzibar. We were booked to stay at hideaway for 2 nights to get over the jetlag and this was supposed to be the better hotel. upon arrival everything sort of seemed fine, however the lock on our pavilion on the inside was broken...

Dear Mr Ellahi, Thank you for your feedback on your stay at Kilindi Zanzibar in 2013. We felt we wanted to respond as, of course, we are most concerned by your comments. The charm of Kilindi is that it is very much ‘part of nature’ and, as a result, leaves falling from trees, insects and monkeys are all things we...

Enjoyed every bit of our stay! Rooms were good and the food was excellent. The rooms reminded me of Flintstoness! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to be alone neding full privacy. Beautiful resort if you want total privacy and seclusion. Pool is very nice as are the rooms. The beach has much to be desired as it is not a walking or for that matter, a laying-out beach. The dedicated beach is small and full of rocks, sea urchins, shells and even glass. No bare feet! Food was hit and miss....
