Had a couple of nights at the Quarters and although were unlucky with the weather (was winter!) we so enjoyed our stay and found the place really cosy and relaxing. Great host in Malcom and wonderful home cooked meals, thank you

We were treated to three days of pretty fantastic weather, but even if the weather had been less kind, the position and views from the very comfortable Quarters are just unsurpassable, rain or shine. On day two we even got up at 5.30 a.m., to photograph the most amazing sunrise, and talk about having a 'loo with a view'! Great...

We had 4 nights there in June. Weather was great for this time of year but it doesn't really matter as there is a fantastic logburner and the view is mesmerising regardless of weather.. The quarters is fitted out perfectly to be self contained. We cooked our own meals for two of the nights and Malcolm cooked us two amazing...

We arrived at the Quarters in a howling gale, but this didn't stop us from climbing up the hill behind to photograph the expansive views,or walking up the farm track amongst the friendly sheep. The sight of the sea was magnificent, wild and untamed ocean, waves crashing into rocks out in front of us, just mesmerising. The cottage was beautiful, fire...

A perfectly isolated location with a panoramic view of the pacific surrounded by sheep, cattle and goats. A great cottage with everything you need, and plenty of walks and activities. The deck is amazing and the fire had no trouble warming the place in June. Thanks!

We were lucky enough to stay at The Quarters over the summer break and what a great time we had. The scenery and serenity were show stopping and it was great being able to be away from the usual summer crowds. The house has all you need for your weekend or longer stay and is great for large groups -...

The Quarters is a very special place with views which take the breath away. A perfect spot for a romantic getaway. The stay was made by the manager, Grant, who delivered a superb crayfish with his fantastic home made sauce. Nothing was too much trouble for him and we were only sad we had to leave!

A group of friends and I spent a week at The Quarters over New Years '13/'14. What a spot! Being right on the coast with magnificent views made for magic times. We had a ball down at 'The Rock' doing some diving and fishing. I caught a big blue moki myself and we also had some luck gathering crayfish. Malcolm...

Dreams are true while they last, and do we not live in dreams? ~ Alfred Lord Tennyson As my week at The Quarters ended and I drove away from the Te Au farm where it resides, I wondered if the previous week had been real. I spent Christmas week there with my two Beagles and can only say that in...

We had a fabulous time at The Quarters. The views are amazing and watching the sunrise on a clear morning is a must! Malcolm is truly an exceptional host and took care of our every need. The provided dinners were delicious and the crayfish and homemade bread at check-in were an added bonus. I cannot recommend this place enough to...
