Very intimate and very magical! From the stunning views, night skies, invigorating walks to Malcolm who is very hospitable. His welcoming encouragement was outstanding and very much appreciated. we had the best time and I would recommend a trip here to sit and appreciate this outstandingly beautiful area. -

I stayed there last month for a weekend during my month in New Zealand, after one of my friends recommended it to me. And it's been one of the highlights of my trip!!! It's simply beautiful, peaceful and relaxing to just enjoy the stunning views and the tranquillity of the place. I highly recommend the sunrise... Oh, and if you... More

A unique and uplifting experience. A fantastic insight into the life of a New Zealand sheep farmer, while enjoying first class accomodation, sublime views and top class home cooked food, delivered personally by the chef at a time of your choice. On top of all this, really excellent value for money. Don' miss this joy and, when you stay, ask... More

We stayed at the Quarters for a week and would happily have stayed longer. We loved the tranquility and enjoyed all the walks especially to the seals. We appreciated being able to take our dog and it's a great spot to show children a taste of Kiwi farm life. We will be back!

Stunning view, so peaceful and relaxation the way it should be. We had two days of stunning weather which showcased the area beautifully. Farm walk, exploring the peninsula, reading books on the verandah. Dog was welcome too, which is a nice change. I wouldn't call it posh, but that's where it's charm lies. It's just so comfortable and, trust me ,... More

A truly Kiwi experience of the highest quality, on the edge of a working sheep farm. The accommodation was plain but tasteful, with the essential equipment for self catering. Dazzling views, gorgeous walks, an excellent meal catered by Malcolm, cosy evenings by the fire, with the full moon shining across the wide ocean. We look forward to returning soon, for... More

Our experience at the quarters was fantastic. We only had 2 nights, but we enjoyed exploring the farm and taking in the wonderful views. The dinner that Malcolm cooked for us was exceptional: Fresh salad and shrimp paella with a delicious feijoa and apple dessert. It was lovely. This place is out of the way, but well worth it if... We could only manage a 2 night stay but simply put - the house is gorgeous, the scenery is to die for and the home cooked food provided by Malcolm is just amazing. Pure relaxation under the stars away from the day to day hustle and bustle of a city, topped off by spectacular sunrises. It was also the perfect... More
