We had the most amazing time at Kingston staying in one of the Motel rooms, they were spotlessly clean, well prepared and maintained. Annabel the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and Lenny who organised the entire stay for us was lovely. Thank you Lenny. She even recommended places for us to stay in Christchurch, Frans Josef and Wellington, and...

Huge room, clean and tidy. Had to go chasing towels as the cleaning staff had missed them. Maybe a little on the pricey side but it was New Year holiday time and rooms were full most places. I would return

Staying in a wee miners cottage at the Kingston Holiday park. Photos speak for themselves. It is so comfortable with amenities including laundry kitchen and toilet about 50 m away. Kitchen has everything you would need to feed a family. I splurged on the 10Gig of wifi data and so far have not been disappointed. The TV in NZ has...

We had to drive from Milford Sound back to Oamaru (East Coast of South Island) which would have entailed approx. 8 hours of driving (including stops), so we decided to break the journey en route. Kingston seemed like a logical place to do this based on the cost of accommodation in Queenstown. We booked two 'yurts' at Kingston Holiday Park...

This pretty little campsite is like rolling back to the 1950's with its beach hut style cabins and 50's style amenities block. A perfect setting for anyone wanting to visit Queenstown but doesn't want to stay in the town itself. We stayed in one of the glamping tents which was very comfortable and cozy despite a storm on one of...

Stayed 6nights in a cabin. Very quaint cabins. Older but comfortable and warm with everything you need in them. Lovely stream running right by the door. Lots of mobile buses staying for one or two nights and the option to hire a glamping tent or a motel room also. We did day trips to Arrowtown, Queenstown and Milford sound. A...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and we booked one of there yurts. Really cool and comfortable, with power in them. Bit like glamping. Holiday park is nice and clean but there are a few problems. The kitchen is tiny, fully equipped but only has 4 burners. Bbq on site worked 1st night but not 2nd. Tge place...

Booked two nights here at short notice - really wanted Queens town but couldn't get in. A lovely little site. We had one of their, clearly very new, 'yurts' (though they are not a genuine yurt; smaller and no wooden side wall frame). But it is carpeted, couple of chairs, comfortable bed, heater, power, toiletries, ...... Quite delightful. Kitchen was...

We booked a yurt to stay in on our way from Queenstown to Milford Sound. The yurt was absolutely gorgeous for a glamping experience, the grounds had a charming setting next to a cute creek. Unfortunately the crazy weather upset our plans and the creek became a torrent which meant we had to evacuate the yurt. The staff were amazing,...

Hi Megan, Thank you for choosing to stay at the Kingston Holiday Park, we apologise for the weather the day you checked in to stay in one of our glamping tents! We found this a great little motel room with good quality appliances and a nice little kitchen. Kids enjoyed the bath, the room was warm on a cool night. Great to see the Lotus Belle tents available for hire as well, they looked well kitted out with a heater if required. Found the staff helpful and the rooms clean and tidy.
