We wanted a quiet place for the weekend before samana santa and found gigante bay online. It advertised a kitchen, pool and a rad place to relax. There was no kitchen access, not even a fridge to keep your own water cold. The only food option was eating at their overpriced restaurant. When we asked if there was a kitchen...

Very nice beach, that is hidden and not easy to get to. close to the aqua resort. Has a nice little fishermen village with good sea food. you can stroll after and find yourself in a secluded beautiful beach

Unfortunately we didn't time our trip well and ended up here at the beginning of semana santa festival. We arrived on Saturday and stayed until Monday. On the first few days we saw the beautiful bay quickly fill with local families and garbage. Watching polystyrene cups and plastic water bottles get washed out to sea. But by Sunday afternoon most...

Two people had recommended this place so I had to see it. I stayed 3 nights and I loved the area and the staff. The food was also good. It's basically the only hostel on that beach and there usually isn't too many people there. The only thing I didn't like was the water that comes out of the sinks...

If you go to Coast of Nicaragua be sure to check out El Gigante. Beutiful beach!!! Very laid back atmosphere. Took private tour there from SJDS. Was expensive but worth it. Accommodations are slim from what I saw. I did just a day trip there so can not advise.

The Hostel is very simple. Many of the employees are volunteers helping to make the hostel more beautiful and serving the guests. They were friendly but sticked rather with eavh other. When I was there it was very windy so there was sand everywhere also in the toilets. But in the morning after cleaning it was gone again. On my...

We stayed here for three nights. There are some great positives, like its location right on the beach and the surprisingly good food. However, the dorms really do need some attention. It smelled terrible, the showers barely had any water coming out of them, the toilets felt dirty and there were frogs in the dorms. So we pretty much left...

This hostel is full of energy! yes, it can be noisy but this is a part of their charm. It is always something happening here - free morning yoga, delicious breakfast or an afternoon cool drink, sunset booze cruse. We enjoyed the place a lot!

We were really excited about this place with the fantastic website and easy booking process however I've never personally been more disappointed with a hostel. The location obviously is fantastic right on the beach and stunning scenery. The bar and restaurant area has lots of seating to watch the sunset and chill. Don't really understand the dirty sofas in the...
