Detailed Reviews
A warm welcome from the owners and marvellous hosts, Steve and Kay. Such a beautiful chalet set in the tranquil grounds, plenty of outside room to lounge around and enjoy all that nature. Made myself a cuppa upon arrival and wasn’t disappointed with the well appointed kitchen, everything you need, and even a dishwasher. The chalet was a lovely size, very comfortable bed, and great shower. Attention to detail, there was even bathrobes to lounge around in. Fans, an air con and wood burner all there depending which time of the year you arrive. To top it off a freshly baked loaf of bread was delivered in the morning, yummy. The property is situated within easy travel of all the wonderful forests and waterfalls. A true paradise, thank you Steve and Kay for a lovely stay.

Kay and Steve pulled out all the stops with their Lodge, 4 gorgeous private and secluded little chalets complete with a spa bath on the balcony and a little fireplace. They were incredibly friendly and helpful and the Saturday night dinner and dessert meal for $70 per couple was incredible- would definitely recommend the homemade chunky beef pot pie and sticky date pudding. Thankyou for giving us a quiet, lovely little break away in paradise.

Myself and my partner needed a few days away from the kids and life’s duties in general.
We loved the outdoor spa, fireplace, privacy and nature. So very rejuvenating.
Our hosts Kaye and Steve were lovely and welcoming paying close attention to many homely details including fresh hot bread everyday.
Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again.

Beautiful chalet, comfortable and secluded, all you need for a romantic break.
Very quiet and luscious surroundings.
Lovely breakfast, and there is also a dinner option that was lovely as well.
Take into account that internet reception is poor, bring a good book. There is a large selection of DVD's in every chalet

From when you arrive until you leave you are made to feel welcome. Beautiful accommodation to relax and unwind. The chocolates with a birthday message and the fresh bread every morning was a lovely touch. Great bed and fantastic private spa on the deck. Also a great base to visit local towns. Highly recommended.

Wow! I am so glad that I did my research and picked Limpinwood Lodge for our getaway.
This place is magic.
We stayed in Valley View. It was perfect.
The privacy, the view from the spa, wow! The birds, the wallabies, the flowers. Beautiful double shower, heated towel racks, fire place, luxurious robes, towels etc. Everything that we needed for a comfortable, relaxing, romantic stay.
Steve and Kay were great, friendly hosts.
And the area, wow. It is such an incredible drive from Tyalgum to murwillumbah through the rolling hills with the mountains all around. So stunning!
We will definitely be back and can not recommended this place high enough. Thank you Steve and Kay 🪵🌴🪶✨🥂

The location is beautiful, the hosts friendly, the accomodation spacious and very private. Provides the perfect opportunity to get away and relax. It would be very easy to stay put, but the surrounding region is also very beautiful. I Will definitely return.

Beautiful and stunning location, so quiet and peaceful. The cottages are gorgeous and they have everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Love the spa and fire and all the little extras that make it a memorable stay. The fresh bread each morning is a lovely touch too. If you do need to venture out there are some great walks and towns near by. Very highly recommended.

100% Romantic Getaway. We Loved staying here and didn't want to leave. There are 3 well equipped cabins on this huge property but you would never know each one has its own little road that leads to complete privacy. The outdoor private spa was definitely our favourite it overlooked the valley and has a hot and cold tap. Each morning they deliver homemade bread to your rooms through a little slot in the kitchen we never once saw or heard them deliver it. We had this and the fresh eggs from their farm each morning for breakfast we ate out on the deck that overlooks the mountains and trees. The large deck also has a bbq, table and chairs and love seat. Inside you have large open plan living with lots of candles to make the mood that more romantic. aircon or wood fire with a well equipped kitchen with all of the necessities such as salt milk coffee tea orange juice spices etc. A fridge dishwasher and gas cooktop. There is pay tv and a range of dvds you can watch but honestly we never turned the tv on. You walk up a few steps to your king size 4 poster bed that overlooks the rest of the cabin. The shower is huge and has twin shower heads. A lot of thought has gone in to the making of this property by the owners to make sure you have everything you need to make it your own little private romantic oasis. We will definitely be returning in the near future.
