Just come back from a short break in Cornwall and stayed here for a couple of nights - I'd thoroughly recommend the place. It's set in a slightly raised location overlooking Newlyn harbour and looking out over the bay and out towards St Micahels Mount. The owners were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. It's basically a small...

I'm staying here for the weekend and what a find! I didn't fancy staying in Penzance itself, but this is a great alternative. The rooms are lovely - very comfortable, well set up and equipped and the restaurant serves delicious food. As a coeliac (allergy to gluten), eating out can be a problem, but they're on top of it here...

All the reviews we had read were excellent and we were not disappointed. The Smugglers is in a great location overlooking Newlyn harbour. Our room was warm, cosy and welcoming and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, nicely fitted and very clean. The room was very private with its own little courtyard where we sat and enjoyed...

Run by Stephen & Barbara- she is front of house and Stephen is chained to the kitchen. Barbara welcomed us warmly and took us to our room, pointing out the most important feature- there is wifi in the rooms ! Very rare around this area. The room, Harvey, was up a set of wooden stairs and very comfortably appointed. The...

We didn't eat at the restaurant as we stayed there on a Sunday evening (restaurant closed). It's a great B&B. The welcome was warm without being intrusive or over the top. The room was very comfortable. The establishment is very convenient to bars and other restaurants. The breakfast was very good ... and while eating you have a fantastic view...

Barbara was a lovely host & looked after us well. Really nice accommodation, but unfortunately rooms without views. However, all very clean, tidy & comfortable. We stayed 2 nights & ate in their restaurant on both occasions. Although we never saw Steve, his cooking was excellent & my wife and I cannot compliment the menu choices + service highly enough....

Stayed for one night - welcomed by the friendly owner who took trouble to settle us in despite being busy with the restaurant. The spacious room appeared newly decorated, and was very nicely furnished, with a clean, fresh shower room. The location is good, overlooking the harbour with good views from the restaurant and close to a selection of pubs....

We booked ahead as a busy restaurant. We six hungry blokes arrived having walked from Penzance some 20 minutes away. A pretty establishment opposite the working harbour of Newlyn. Barbara welcomed each if us and put us in a window table so we could see the harbour. A nice wine, Muscatel, was chosen by one of our party to match...
