Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Stayed at this site last year for 4 nights on the way to the Algarve. Site was so good that we booked for this year and have stayed for 4 weeks. Love the area with plenty of beaches to walk the dog. Entrance to Porto Covo from Sines is not the most attractive but get beyond the industry and it is beautiful. Porto Covo is a lovely small fishing village, full of good restaurants and bars. Site of Costa do Vizir is excellent with really good facilities, plenty of showers and loos with good hot water. Dog showers are excellent with hot and cold to wash the dog, good area to play football etc near reception for the children. Reception is good and helpful. Manager on site Paulo goes beyond as we had a problem with our motorhome and he could not of been more helpful. Mechanic arrived next morning to fix our problem, he kept us fully informed and checked afterwards to make sure we were okay.
You can walk 10minutes from site to the beach which has a beach bar which the site runs, good beer and food . Cannot recommend this site enough would recommend.

This is a very well laid out and very well kept campsite with a range of pitches and chalets to rent. there is an excellent pool area. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the front of the site. We didnt use the restaurant so cant comment on that but the shower facilities are some of the best we have encountered. We would highly recommend

The best campsite we've ever stayed at and we've stayed at quite a few.
Well thought out and equipped park. Swimming pool and barbecues to envy.
Equipment all included in the price.
Very well-kept bungalow and apartment area and well-defined and marked area for caravans and tents.
Small minimarkets with fresh bakery in the morning and restaurant with signature cuisine.
About a 10-minute walk from the center, a very pleasant walk and close to the main beaches.
We simply love it 😍

After receiving an email confirming that we could use our ACSI card on the Motorhome gravel pitches, which includes 1 dog, we travelled a thousand miles to get there. On Arrival we were checking in for 30 days, they refused to honour the ACSI price and also charged us 180 euros for our small dog, we refused to pay this, but the only section of the park where you can use Acsi and not pay 6 euros a day for each dog, is a stinking part at the back of the park with dire pitches, not a place you would want to have a holiday. Customer service non existent and we had to leave even though most pitches were empty

Stayed there the second time and it was again excellent. With a camper one should stay on the new area. Sanitary is very clean and all the staff are friendly. From this year on they belong to the Yelloh groupe and it is planned to modernize the old area and to build new Spa and restaurant facilities. Work is planned to begin end 2020 and will go on for 2 years. The place stays open.
We have been very impressed by the Restaurant which is now open all the year. Menu is excellent and the cooks are doing a great job. We enjoyed the kitchen several times.

The welcome was wonderful. The young woman with glasses at reception went over and above to help us . The best reception we have ever had!
Remember when booking a pitch to get one near to a electric box. We had to hire an extension lead (50 euros) when we left early we were told that security would refund us, The man was very apologetic but it took him 15 minutes to sort it out , as he had not been notified. A small glitch but it didn’t ruin our wonderful stay .

Lousy spots for campers, overpriced. No shadow, small spaces, no water and electricity is far away. Okay the swimming pool is nice, but the sanitary was dirty. €74,- per night. I would go to a campersite because at least your car stands right

Clean and accessible spaces, excellent location, good amenities, good sanitation of the bathrooms, quiet within possible.
Some repairs missing in the bathrooms but nothing that prevents its enjoyment.
Overall, positive experience.

Very very disappointed with this campsite, far from the dream image that they want to sell us. If you present an ACSI card you are simply parked on a vacant lot above the “Real campsite” on unstabilized ground and under the eucalyptus trees. We wonder if the ACSI inspector really came to this campsite unless we really only showed him the pretty side of the postcard. We will not return there again.

If you have a campervan over 5 metres, dont go. Site manoeuvreability is dreadful and the pitches are unkempt, dirty and extremely uneven. Planned to stay a week but will move on an a day or so. Restaurant is supposed to be good so we'll see
