We stayed in the luxury farm cottage for three nights (halfboard) and it was perfect. If you are traveling to this part of Tanzania there's no way you can miss out on this gem of a property. The owner, Mama Nicky, is warm and welcoming and her staff is amazing. Even moreso the food is fantastic. We were always a...

A fantastic and beautiful place, kept by nice people, creating an extraordinary high level of hospitality. This place is the result of 19 years of hard work by Nicky and her team. They crafted a warm and beautiful place, where it's nice to be and to relax. The cottages are very comfortable. The restaurant is great. There are nice short...

Unfortunately we only stayed one night here but it is worth more, the location is excellent and there is plenty of birds in the area the morning chorus was excellent. The resturant is very atmospheric with mud walls and the food is very good but was surpased by the accomodation, which was 6 star, I would recommend staying here to anyone...

We stayed here as part of our overland tour. We did camping, and the campsite was very nice. The long drop toilet was the cleanest I have ever seen and did not smell. The showers were very hot, with good water pressure and a clean shower area. The accommodated people stayed in stables, how cute is that! The highlight of...

We stayed in its cottage for one night recently and loved Its charm, its thatched roof and muddy wall. Its bar has this cool desert kind of atmosphere. Though the shower and wifi were not up to normal standard, it is understandable as a working farm. Everyone seemed to enjoy the roast beef dinner that night.

Stayed here recently as part of an overland tour and I had one of the rooms in the stables. It was nice to stay in somewhere so quaint. The room was small, and would be tight for two people. However the bed was so comfortable and I had one of the best nights sleep of the whole month tour. The...

We stayed here for one night with our Nomads tour in one of the little cottages. They were very cute and quaint with comfortable beds, however the hot water was not very hot even though we waited the half an hour they suggested after it was turned on. The meal at the restaurant was great and we loved sitting in...

Charming campsite. The rooms were comfortable, cozy and magical. Some of the facilities are not attached to the rooms. That was ok easy walk over and I had the best hot shower from a wood burning pipe. The restaurant and lounge served very tasty local food. Highly recommend.

We chose to drive down to Morogoro and beyond, for the Christmas. Had booked in advance but had to go through the rigmaroles of check-in, as the Farmhouse (aptly called that) is spread in a sizable area. Once in, we had to acclimatize to the fact that there is no electricity here- only one lamp that lights up your cottage/...

Thank you so much for your letter. We do infact have mains electricity and charging points in all the rooms now. We also have a back up generator, wi fi and television so we have jumped from the 70s into the modern world but keeping the bush charm. We look forward to seeing you again and would be very interested...

Kisolanza came highly recommended to us by friends who also used the campsite and now we would like to recommend this great place to others. A few campsites have thatch covers and electrical outlets, all have picnic tables, some have small firepits, and the bathrooms/showers are spotless and well-lit at night. The property is near the main road but you...
