We stayed for two nights for our wedding in Sept 2013 we hired out all 4 rooms for our bridal party. The rooms are spacious, neatly presented and very private from the other rooms. The location is so beautiful and quiet, there is no phone coverage even if your with Telstra. We wish we could have stayed for longer just sitting on the balcony listening to all the birds and watching the wind in the trees. We had the most amazing breakfast provided by Kim who was a wonderful host. We will definitely be returning again.

Peppermint Lane Lodge is a secret to be found nestled in The Ferguson Valley. A truly lovely part of WA. The rooms are well appointed with wonderful comfortable beds with great views. Hosts Kim & Simon make you feel very welcome and they make fabulous dinners and Kim's desserts not to be missed. Breakfast is a delight with lots of local produce. You can spend your days visiting the local Wineries, Breweries & Galleries or just walking in the beautiful countryside. A wonderful escape from the normal hustle and bustle of Dunsborough or Margaret River. Will certainly be going back.

We had been to PLL sometime ago and enjoyed it so much that we wanted to share the experience with some of our dear friends who were hanging out for an escape from day to day pressures. So off we all went to PLL for a 2 night stay. We weren’t let down – our friends just loved the luxurious accommodation , the superb dinners and breakfasts created by Kim and Simon and their gracious hospitality and company. During the day we visited local wineries, galleries, breweries and generally enjoyed the tranquil environment of Ferguson Valley. How lovely it was to come back in the evening to a delightfully created dinner preceded by a magnificent array of canapés enjoyed by a warming fire as we recounted our day’s activities. If you are chasing a relaxing weekend escape, do yourself a…

A beautiful retreat on the Ferguson River. Well appointed, luxurious cottages and Kim's cooking is truly delicious! Kim & Simon are gracious hosts in a beautiful, relaxing setting. I have posted a photo of the little bridge over the river that is all part of the experience.

A friend had raved on numerous occasions of her annual trips to visit Kim and Simon at PLL, so after a few failed attempts to visit we finally made it down. What can I say, PLL is everything I hoped it would be and so very much more. The rooms have been fitted out to be as comfortable and welcoming as they can possibly be, and Ferguson Valley was a wonderful surprise with all that you'd expect when visiting Denmark but so much closer to home! During our two day stay, we strolled through the forest, planned to bring our bikes next time to make use of the bike trails and visited some really good wineries, breweries and galleries. But what really makes the stay memorable is the hospitality offered by Kim and Simon who made us feel like visiting friends. I'm so glad we decided…

We booked a weekend away just two friends wanting some peace and quiet, on booking we were asked if we wanted a home cooked meal on the night of our arrival, WELL, here was our surprise, a five course meal of fantastic quality, never did we suspect this our hosts had lived in France and there was a good European touch to everything served If you do come down to the Ferguson valley make sure you stay here, good rooms, great sheets, big towels - good wrap around size. All the right ticks from me - a good weekend were had by all - we will be back.

We returned to PLL for another two night stay to escape the noise of Perth, to slow down, recharge the batteries and spend some quiet time with each other. Simon and Kim are the consumate hosts - attentive, friendly, well travelled and knowledgeable about their local area. The other reviews are all correct - the rooms are lovely, ideally situated and well cared for. Simon and Kim are great cooks, source quality local produce and produce a stunning array of tasty food, whether it be for a superb dinner with them or for one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! We know the Ferguson Valley well from previous visits and so we could have easily walked through the forest, rode our mountain bikes on numerous trails, visited breweries and wineries and many other things. But we chose to…
