Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Peppermint Lane Lodge are displaying an inspirational sculpture trail at their premises for several weeks. Sculptures ranging from ornate gates to bicycles in trees as well as stone sears, musical sculptures and ornate spiders webs are all featured along the valley in front of the accommodation.

Another beautiful and peaceful stay at Peppermint Lane Lodge. Listening to the Kookaburras, watching the Blue Wren's and soaking in the total peace and serenity. We love it here and always hope to return.

Kim of Peppermint Lane Lodge was my saviour on my big day, and offered us her own bathroom for us to get ready because my husband to be was taking too long in the shower! We had to call Kim for help again when Mum was having difficulty with the clasps on my dress. Then she helped me with my hair,...the list goes on! I guess you could say that there is a friendly and personal touch to Peppermint Lane Lodge! I really don't think Mum and I would have coped without Kim!! A gorgeous room filled with fresh flowers, yummy breakfast, beautiful grounds, great conversation and champagne to boot! What a wonderful way to round off a brilliant weekend, thanks again Kim xxx

We spent 3 nights here as our first stop travelling around Australia. Kim and Simon are wonderful hosts and their food is as good as we have had anywhere. Lovely tranquil and relaxing location with a few kangaroos venturing into the garden at dusk. A great start to our vacation and we highly recommend PLL.

I was taken away for a surprise weekend. What a wonderful, hidden gem of a place. In the middle of nowhere, but a superb, relaxing environment. Our hosts, Simon and Kim, we're welcoming, informative, with nothing too much trouble. As a birthday weekend, they made it special for me. Lots of thoughtful extra touches - flowers on the bed, in the bathroom, as well as huge scented arrangement in our room. The wildlife, flora and fauna were wonderful, with many birds that I had not previously seen. The food was excellent with French influences, our hosts being Francophiles, as are we. The breakfasts were substantial too, setting us up for a day of wine tasting and sightseeing. I sincerely hope we may return again for another relaxing weekend in the not too distant future.

Wow, what a wonderful, wonderful escape! Beautifully positioned in the lush Ferguson Valley with views to savour and wildlife abounds. Lovely appointed rooms with quite possibly the most comfortable beds EVER! Kim and Simon were wonderful hosts and quite the 'Chefs' in the kitchen with delicious and freshly prepared gourmet dinners. A lovely time away with everything you could wish for in a luxury B&B. We will be returning!

Visiting from Victoria, this beautiful Lodge is well worth seeking out. A tranquil and peaceful place, wonderful blooming gardens and stunning cascading peppermint trees and high hilltops, a superb backdrop to our evening drinks on the deck and stunning pool. The rooms are generous, separate to the main house, very private, with verandahs and picturesque views, with the best king sized bed Ive slept in. Simon cooked us a local venison rack to perfection and Kim's desserts were delicious. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Could not fault anything, even the Blue Wrens whistled for us.

Tucked away in the beautiful Ferguson Valley, Peppermint Lane Lodge was just the break we needed from our busy city lives . We stayed in "The Vines"- one of four suites. From the moment we stepped through the door, we knew we had arrived at a wonderful retreat. The main room is spacious with a super comfortable king size bed and crisp linen. We loved sitting on our private verandah, watching the birds and soaking up the peaceful outlook to Peppermint trees by the stream that runs through the property. Little touches like home made slice, a coffee machine, fresh flowers made the whole experience memorable. We opted for a delicious dinner prepared by our hosts, who use many fresh ingredients from the garden. Definitely worth it and we were free to bring

Amazing weekend in the Ferguson Valley, a very beautiful area. Our accommodation at Peppermint Lane Lodge was extremely comfortable, many thoughtful extras and all wonderfully presented. Gourmet dinner was provided by Kim and Simon on our first night, complete with local wines and information on Ferguson Valley attractions. Great hospitality, including contacting vineyards to organise tastings. Definitely worth returning to for a relaxing break or a special getaway.

A pretty location, I stayed for a few nights in February. We drove past and saw their street signage claiming they are 5 star. That they are NOT. While the hosts are nice, the rooms are that too, but nothing more. I would expect for 5 stars, the word Luxury would be something we would see. We suggest they claim a real RAC rating.
