Thanks so much to Simon and Kim for this beautiful weekend. We went there to explore the Fergusson Valley and were delighted with our find at peppermint lane lodge. The room was beautiful (felt like a honeymoon), it was a hot day so the salt water pool was spot on, there was a musical brunch organised with a live concert and brekkie in the most incredible setting amongst the peppermint trees. Kim and Simon were great hosts and there was plenty of info about the area and what to do. Highly recommend this lovely place and we will defo be coming back!!! ❤️

It was good to meet you both and we are so pleased that you enjoyed Peppermint Lane Lodge so much. The concert with Sunnyside - Janine and Joel - from Margaret River was such an amazing success. We hope to have a few more private concerts and you were lucky enough to stay when this incredible duo were playing. Look forward to you coming again.

My Husband and I just spent some time with Kim and Simon at peppermint lane lodge. What a beautiful place to stay. Beautiful bush setting and gardens in the rain and sunshine. Artwork in the garden is interesting for everyone to view. We had a delicious dinner cooked by Simon and Kim with very good company. Kim cooked breakfast which was also lovely with a breakfast continental and bacon eggs sausage tomato with home grown orange juice. Kim and Simons enthusiasm for what they are doing is truly infectious. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing stay. We will return Mike &Robyn

Thanks for coming Alison. It was very generous of you to support the SWWR at the Girl's Wear Pearls event. People like you are so good for the world. We thoroughly enjoyed having you and hope that the peace and quiet helped you along the away. Fun too to have a mini break just up the road in this gorgeous Valley of ours.

The Ferguson Valley was more picturesque than I remembered from my previous visit and Peppermint Lane Lodge's rooms have been updated. The chalet was cosy for a winter visit with wifi and privacy making it a very pleasant stay, made even more enjoyable by Kim and Simon's company and wonderful cooking when we chose to gather around the fire in the lounge.

Words cannot do Peppermint Lane Lodge justice. Head there when you need to escape the hustle and bustle, eat and drink to your hearts content, experience a five star experience, and meet amazing new people. From the first night when we were welcomed, to the last breakfast when we had to say goodbye to the amazing Simon and Kim, we felt like we had just discovered the best kept secret in WA. The rooms were expertly decorated and so comfortable; the breakfasts and dinner we had with our hosts were on par with top restaurants; the location was idyllic. It was sad to say goodbye - but we'll be back.

This secluded gem of a place is the perfect location for a quiet and relaxing getaway in the beautiful Ferguson Valley. So quiet and peaceful, and so green! Surrounded by rolling hills and teeming with bird life, the accommodation is spacious and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. Breakfast at the Lodge is delicious; Kim is a fantastic cook! Later, enjoy lunch at one of the local wineries, then return for a forest walk or relax with a book on the verandah back at the Lodge before heading out for dinner at 'The Dardy'. If you'd prefer to stay in, join Kim and Simon for a gourmet meal at the Lodge. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to turn off the mobile and just relax in a beautiful setting. If you usually default to Margaret River, try this…

From our first hello to our last goodbye our 3 nights at Peppermint Lane Lodge were above our expectations. We were embraced by the warm, happy & charming Kim & Simon. The serenity of our surrounds, & our room was a haven of tranquility where we relaxed in the sunshine on our balcony after being thoroughly spoilt with the most superlative breakfast. We cannot believe that we have never been to the Ferguson Valley before, quaint galleries, vineyards, wonderful places to relax & eat whilst wiling away an afternoon enjoying the rolling green hills. And all only 2hrs drive south of Perth.

Want peace and quiet? This is the place! It is surrounded by acres of greenery and is one of the quietest places I have ever stayed. Bliss. We stayed for 5 nights! To top it off the bed was excellent and the curtains superbly thick so you could sleep in in the mornings! Kim, the hostess was totally charming and enthusiastic and knows lots about all the places to visit in the Ferguson Valley and has written a book all about it. She could not have been more helpful and friendly - an exceptional host. She provided a full breakfast each day and there was optional dinner at night (for I think about $90 a head). There are no cooking facilities at all in the rooms and hardly anywhere to eat at night so this is very helpful. A true escape from the world - not even mobile phone reception…

No need for superlatives. Simply the first place that Lorraine and I chose when we want to get away, slow down, recharge, eat a beautiful meal, be welcomed like old friends and enjoy the very special little touches that only consummate professional hosts can provide. Another wonderful two night stay to celebrate another birthday (Simon - Kim outdid you this time my friend!)
